Truly a little Homespun Museum it appears to be decently organized and certainly puts a new perspective on a motor car street car. 3% grades are fairly heavy duty. And while one doesn't think of interurbans or streetcars as much in the Southeast as in the Midwest Duke Power did run their share. A nice little trip for the family as the volunteers seem to enjoy showing off the operation. Thanks for sharing and letting the viewers know about this small but interesting niche in history. Looking at #7 I can very well see a successful Caboose train

I took a visit to this railroad for the first time recently for their hayride on rails, plus do a video there of course lol. And I must say it was something really special and unfortunately something I overlooked long ago. Rocky was a neat gentleman and everyone there knew what they were doing in keeping that fine trolley system / piece of southern railway system alive. And this video was what mostly boosted me to finally go there.

@@blueridgerails And btw when I was there, I asked one of the volunteers (not featured in this video just to point that out) if they plan to have the gramlings themselves bring one of their tank engines there for steam operations and apparently told me they had that idea in mind for a while, I just imagine not till the caboose trains are up and running and get in proper contact with them lol.
