I always loved going to the mall for Halloween as a kid. Seeing sam goody in this video was so nostalgic. This does make me sad because it is like I'm watching my childhood and here I am in my 30s wondering where the time went. Life back in the 90s was so simple, we did not need social media to talk to friends, we socialize through school, stayed over at friends house on weekends playing video games eating pizza and watching morning cartoons. Nowadays everyone is glued to their iPhones and socializing, family, friends, etc don't seem to matter anymore because people are attacking others on social media. If only we can go back to this and stop technology from advancing.
@MPK112233 Жыл бұрын
It's funny how we all end up making these comments about the generations before us. Sometimes watching old pictures and these videos are fun but there can be a sense of sadness too. Would be nice to go back in time wouldn't it. I still enjoy going to malls, even just to stroll through. Even the ones that are barely hanging on, something special about them. However, with technology now, things may never be the same. But that's ok. Best wishes to you.

I just have to point out the incredible difference between then and now. Everyone seemed happier. People still had their problems but they were happier. It’s really sad when you see the parallels of people today compared to back then. In a way, with all of the “advancements” there have been, people just lived better lives back then. Talk about not making the most of what’s given. I do not see any division anywhere in this video yet that’s not what people are told today. Apparently, all it takes is to tell people that weren’t alive back then how horrible people were and they’d believe it. I’m so glad I was blessed enough to live durning the 80’s. It’s also nice to see people interacting with one another instead of looking down at their phones.

This brought back a memory I hadn't thought of in a long time. Way back in 1993 or 1994, my parents took us to one of our local malls (Main Place Mall in Santa Ana, CA) for a similar Halloween event. I really don't remember anything about that except for stopping by Electronics Boutique. I specifically remember getting a Rocket Knight Adventures trading card with Sparkster on it. Fast forward to 2003, a year after high school, I got a job at that same Electronics Boutique (the signage still said Electronics Boutique, not EBGames). That same kid at EB that gave me that trading card was still working there, now the assistant store manager.
