Got a 32X at launch, with Doom...I was a very happy camper finally being able to own Doom on a home console...apparently my neighborhood all drank the kool-aid as well because TWO other kids who lived by me also got a 32X...so I played the terrible Motocross game and also Virtua Racing at their houses...then I rented the Star Wars game, Cosmic Carnage, and Tempo from Blockbuster at some point....then the console just kinda died and I was really confused/let down. I have a special bit of nostalgia for the system, and still own one today that I play on here and there (that Space Harrier port is so good!) but yeah, Sega really fumbled the ball with the 32X back in the day. It was sad.

I find it fascinating how your family documented everything over a decade before KZbin was even thought of. I’ve seen friends home videos from the late 80’s early 90’s but never like this where your entire life was documented. It takes a lot of discipline to actively film like this. It wasn’t filmed for likes, views or subs. It was out of love.

Es una historia impresionante amigo, muy pocos morros tuvieron un papa como tu. Fuiste muy afortunado y me sorprende mucho que tienes tantas grabaciones en Handycam de cada momento. Tu video es totalmente único en youtube.

At this point you should make an entire feature length documentary of your whole retro life. The whole story of your video game journey. I would love to see something like it.

Thank you bro. You brought back so many memories that almost made me tear up. People don't understand in this generation how special the retro days were to us and i would not trade those moments in life for anything. Those days were the best. It's the bonding with people that made them special. Now people just play on the Internet. Thanks again bro and keep them coming. I'm an old school retro gamer still till this day👍🏾 God bless 💪🏾

I remember when this game first came out on the arcade, I remember seeing it in my local bowling alley and it was 1995 and I was a bit older than Tyler here I was already 20 when this game first came out and I was pretty good at it too on the arcade, but I never did get it for any of the consoles lol Good times it's great seeing kids's excitement opening up things that they wanted to get or love because it kind of reminds me of when I first played this game on the arcade, let's seeing your reaction Tyler really reminds me of the time when I first got super Mario Bros 3 for the NES back in 1990 and it was a great memory cuz my mom got it for me and the NES actually for Christmas, I was so excited to get it. 😁😁

Shed a tear because your father was my favorite part of the video before I even found out he passed. Thanks to him for recording these moments because I was able to relive all of it with you while watching. Waves of nostalgia would hit me as you were unveiling the xbox for the first time.I hope I'm able to be a good father like he was. You lucked out bro god bless you and keep making these awesome videos.

Hey Tyler, where are your Grandparents from? According to your surname, I think your family has Napolitan Origins. I am from Napoli but I live in Spain and I watch your vídeos every day. I also wanted to tell you that also my parents did not want me to play GTA but well at some point they understood it was just a game and let me and my brothers play it

Insane that you recorded your youth. I wish I did that. Love the channel bro. I am in my early 40s, and I so understand. The console gaming of that time was like nothing ever. These games today have nothing on what was produced and the concept of the 2d platform games. Ooozzzing with nostalgia.
