I’ve been going through the comments and while I’m glad so many women are coming out with their stories, I’m sorry that you’ve had to suffer so much too. The capsules I have been talking about are called evening primrose oil capsules. I can only recommend it to you. Please make sure you consult your gynae first before taking them. Thank you for listening and sharing your stories. Thanks to the men who have been patient enough to sit through this and give their support. Let’s hope menstrual health is no longer treated as a taboo subject.

We just lost a dear sister in our colony after her first period that lasted 14 days.. she was without mom and no sisters hence she wasn't comfortable to share with her dad in this lockdown. Once her health deteriorated, her unaware dad took her to hospital only to lost her the next day. These kids of health education and experience should be helpful to Many people. Best wishes

Guy here🖐. Never knew periods could be so complicated for some women. Thanks for the information. But I do remember one harrowing experience we had years ago with one female friend. She had come on a visit from Nagaland for a few days and duly landed in our gents-only flat (5 guys). Cutting to the chase, one evening she...umm...started going red and it just wouldn’t stop. She herself said it wasn’t normal. Then she fainted 😳. Oh the shock of it all, first time ever for all of us. We quickly hailed a cab and took her to the hospital. Our other female friends were frantically called...’cause it was a female thing and us guys had no clue at all. Anyway, right med intervention was given at the right time and the next evening she was discharged, all smiling and flashing a V-sign. Quite a scene it was, in retrospect.

I have been trying to tell all the female frens i meet about taking care of ourselves. This things need to be talked before something serious happens to someone.

It's so sad to see that there are so many girls out there who never get "the period talk" from their mothers. If I ever have a daughter in the future, I will make sure to educate her regarding all these things so that she doesn't have to go through the difficulties that I did.

95% girls suffer from anaemia without knowing because of taboo on how to keep nutritious and good health n stamina, throughout menstrual bleeding, pregnancy , post childbirth bleeding, and all.... Not just prds, even talking general talks on post childbirth bleeding and health complications, breastfeeding is a great taboo, resulting in poor mother n infant health

" Ek Chinese lady ko lekar gaye the'' How casually you said this Miss Imsong. I am feeling ashamed of such mentality. I hope there will be a day when people will stop judging someone's nationality based on looks. My apologies. (I don't know wether it could change anything)
@12villages2 жыл бұрын
There was no racist undertone behind the statement, "ek chinese ladki chakkar ake gir gayi". The people were just making a honest innocent observation. In india, there are some specific terms used to describe some peoples background: bangali(west bengal, orissa), bhaiyaa(anyone from north india), punjabi/sardar(sikh), madrasi(south Indians), nepali/assami/pahadi/chinese(anyone with mongoloid background) mamedian(muslim) bawa(parsi) These words are used in regular communication. Even "chinky" is not used as an insult. At least, it is not used in Mumbai as an insult. I have heard some street vendors call mongoloids as "sala chipkali(lizard)" in private gossip but this was clearly meant to be insulting.
@chatgpt4135 Жыл бұрын
@@12villages This word 'Chinki' was never heard said for north Easterns by native Mumbaikar, cos we don't even know which language this word is in , what is it's meaning, 'Chinki, Chintu, Chingi, Chakuli, Chabeli, Baby ' are simply nicknames of babies and lil kids here in marathi ppl , so I had no idea, in Delhi similar word in another language may have bad meaning lol Yes, in Mumbai some ppl may Unknowingly call them 'Chinese, or Japanese,etc', but we don't know existence and meaning of word chinki in delhi culture and why delhiites use it for NE Indians, it is simply not here in our language and vocabulary other than a common familial nicknames for kids , hearing it for first time in such way lol

@@wellenjeje well you can try emptying it more often and re-inserting it, not only would it prevent leaks but also reduce the odour that is produced due to leaving it in for long hours. The main reasons for leaks are either the cup not opening properly once it get inside or it getting filled because once it gets filled the vacuum vanishes so I'd prefer you it take it out more often depending on your flow. 🌷💐🌸🌼🌻🍂🍁🍃❤
