I walked on this path once. It’s so beautiful. I have relatives in South Carolina. Crazy thing is: My paternal grandfather was stationed at Fort Jackson so my dad graduated from high school in Columbia while my maternal grandparents had a couple of ancestors sprawling all over the state but my mom grew up in Texas and I think she never have been to South Carolina until she married my dad.
