I must say, they are not only immensely talented but also genuinely humble and kind individuals.... Idk what the issue is but I'm army to the core but Ateez are incredible, and they have such distinct presence and sound. I love that you're exploring them too tbh. I do understand some people's hesitence in welcoming change in reaction channels bc I have seen channels where they're only into one group but then start reacting to any and everything and it feels impersonal and disingenuous. The thing about Ateez lyrics, is that they are connected to ATEEZ’s fictional storyline. They use the lyrics to help tell their Anime like story. I used to think that Ateez lyrics weren’t very deep compared to other Kpop groups (cough, cough BTS) but as time went on I realized that although many of their lyrics are just talking about how as pirates they are going on adventures and looking for treasure, they are also learning things on their journey and growing as characters and as people and those lessons are also reflected in their lyrics. It’s not every song, but some of their songs talk about profound truths, and other songs talk about going through hard times in a way that everyone can relate to.

Ateez are really hands on when it comes to their craft. Hongjoong (captain/leader, producer, writer, main rapper) and Mingi (main dancer, writer, main rapper) participate in production and writing. Dance/performance line help choreograph. Seonghwa chose the iconic “Break the wall” fan chant that even non fans participate in. They also allow the fans to be apart of their story. Our first lightstick was one a fan designed, we get to choose title tracks, plus their storyline and promotions are incredibly interactive. You’ll be at a random event ateez is at and suddenly you’ll be airdropped a QR code leading to Morse code or a cryptic message. Or maybe they’ll drop an unlisted link and suddenly you’re sitting there watching a video of a dark abandoned mall hearing nothing but rain and birds for 30 mins. (true story)

Mingi never participated in the music production for Ateez, and Hongjoong just some songs, big majority is from Edenary team, but the two did participate in the lyrics of almost every song :)

Plus their entertainment company is also top notch! KQ Entertainment is still considered a "small/independent" company in the KPOP world - Ateez is their 1st idol group - very much like how BTS & BigHit started. Plus both YeoSang & WooYoung started as trainees at BigHit - Atiny is very lucky that they decided to join KQ Entertainment (FunFact: WooYoung IS the BIGGEST ARMY and is a huge fanboy of Jimin)

I'm armytiny and I absolutely love both groups so much. I've been lucky enough to see them both in concert and I would say BTS was like a party, while ATEEZ was like watching an epic movie or theatrical performance. While ATEEZ and BTS do have a similar story of working on their own songs and bringing a small company up from nothing to become super successful through their hardwork, they do have their differences and I think RM and Suga being from an underground/poetry background will always set BTS apart lyrically from other groups no matter what. With ATEEZ too, their music (especially title tracks) are heavily linked through their fictional storyline which makes it super fun to try and connect things together. That's not to say their lyrics are weak, but I would say when reading their lyrics, think of it as half storyline and half their own story that they want to tell about their journey from trainees to where they are today. Some b-sides are not connected to their storyline at all (fan songs, personal songs, etc.), but in general there is usally some connection or theme between their albums which I really love. They also have some of the most unique production in kpop and I cant get enough 😂. As a whole ATEEZ are absolute performance beasts with the best facial expressions i've ever seen in kpop, it's so amazing to watch their passion on stage. I feel like in general, BTS feels like a warm hug to me while ATEEZ makes me want to follow them into battle lmao their vibes are different, but they are both immensely talented groups and it would be awesome if you find more of their music that you like. I have been army for many years now, but I think it is important to listen to other artists as well. There is so much music out there in the world just ready for you to find and enjoy it and it isn't wrong of you to listen to other groups if you want to, that doesnt mean you love BTS any less ❤. I mean even BTS listen to other artists so of course it's ok for you to check out other artists as well, that doesn't take away from your passion for their music. Both BTS and ATEEZ make me feel happy in different ways (and in some of the same ways) and my life is better after having found them both ❤

I’ve seen them both live as well and your description was the most accurate one that I have seen. BTS concert is like the funnest party with 20,000 of your closest friends. Ateez concert was like watching a jaw dropping and almost tear jerking Broadway Musical with insane choreography.

The most interesting thing about ATEEZ is that each comeback, their Albums maintain a theme ✨ as for this, u may have noticed the reoccurring tune of the tropical vibes. I feel you’d absolutely fall in love with their WORLD EP1: MOVEMENT album and WORLD EP2: OUTLAW album tracks. These two albums have variety in their track list, but they’re still somehow linked together. They’re cohesive, and it’s like stringing an entire story through the whole album! 😍 Those are their latest albums tho, so if you want to check out something in their earlier days, then TREASURE:EPILOGUE or the very first Fever series album, ZERO:FEVER PT1 would win u over for good 😋😋 Lyrics wise, I can understand why u wouldn’t be too pulled in or engrossed in its expression. ATEEZ has HEAVY lore (that hasn’t even revealed half of the plot since the 5yrs into their debut 😭) and their song lyrics heavily reference that world they have created. 👾To summarise if ur interested: - the guys travel dimensions (universe A and Z) and the Z universe is governed and heavily controlled by higher authorities that have forbidden any form of arts and numbed emotions to control their people better. Ateez fight against their control and try to wake the people up, to make them find themselves, explore and flourish with emotions. They’re playing the role of anarchists that go against this government and eventually become outlaws. -Treasure series explores their youth before they found out abt all of that. Finding their own path; getting to know who they are and their aspirations & dreams. - fever series explores all the struggles teens go and embodies it in their album through lyrics and musical artistry I would love to see your reaction to their live performances, as I’m sure many have already told you, ATEEZ are quite literally KNOWN as performance kings. They have heavy stage presence and a swagger attitude that draws u in, not to mention, their vocals are 100% live. You may hear backing vocals but that’s because their choreography is ALWAYS so intense 🥹🥹 But I’ll respect whatever decision u make, whether u react to it or watch it in ur own time, I’ll be happy 😁😁 Ah, I’m ranting at this point, but I really do love this group a lot 🥰 I really love ur channel btw! While they heavily reference their lore, even without its context, the lyrics give you the experience of what it’s like to think in a certain way, how one would feel in this given situation and how it is handled… they always transfer me into their world, so much so I can even visualise a whole scene out of my head ❤️❤️

I’ve been army for 7 years and atiny for 2, and I say if you try to compare both groups you’ll fall into a trap. Both groups are amazing and bring different things to the table. Bts is from a different generation than ateez and are legends, even inspire ateez themselves, so i think comparing is unfair. What I think is unique about ateez is that they bring the pirate motif into every song so (to me) i see their lyrics and overall performance as more of musical theatre instead of a music by itself. you may not relate to them but they do tell a story and fit with the overall storyline. That being said, I really love the lyrics from ateez last album outlaw and i think they really grew lyric wise from their debut to now.

I was a BTS ult only prior to knowing that ATEEZ existed. I have been Army alone since 2018 and Atiny now since 2020 and haven’t looked back. They are my only two ult groups. Other groups are ones I like but their come up and the passion they possess is just amazing

An Atiny here, first of all, thank you for checking them out. You may not have heard about them bc their company doesn't pay for those media articles or something like those big companies. But even after coming from a small label they sold out a world tour just after 4 months of debuting (which was also demanded by fans thru MMT). So that speaks enough about their talent. Secondly, I would like to suggest to pick a narrative, fix your mind whether you want to check other kpop grp or you want to just stick to bts bcoz this whole debate again & again bring hate towards Ateez & that's something Atinys won't tolerate. Or you can just find other kpop grp if you don't connect or vibe to their music bcoz it's okay, everybody has different taste & I respect that. Third, if you want to continue this journey, plz don't try to search for bts in them, bts is bts, Ateez is Ateez, they have their own unique individual identities. If they would do what bts do, then why would ppl listen to them? They will just listen to bts. Ateez's music style is different, production style is different, performing style is different. KQ like BIGHIT was a really poor company.. these two groups started with absolutely nothing and built themselves up of the bottom with their pure hardwork.. I'm just an atiny whose been stalking your channel since your last Ateez reaction because I enjoyed your energy and honesty. Thank you for giving our boys a second chance. I can't speak for army but I think if I was to pick a boy group from 4th gen k-pop with the closest kind of story to BTS it would be Ateez, so I hope army understands and respects Ateez as much as Atiny respects, appreciates and admires BTS. I would love to see you explore more Ateez. I would absolutely watch dance practices and live stages, because the thing about Ateez is they are considered by many professionals above them as the best performers and dancers in 4th generation. Also KQ, their company, is very reactor friendly. KQ and Ateez love and respect their fans immensely so they almost never copyright strike against reactors watching their official content. So with that being said, a lot of atiny buy the physical DVD's of their tours and then post all the performances online. So any performance video of a song that says it comes from a tour DVD or says it's specifically from one of their Seoul tour shows will be great quality and will not get blocked like the performances off of award shows and other big companies do. I would love to see you check out some of those live performances. All of their performances are always amazing, and I always struggle to choose a favourite. But one of my current favourites is a b-side from one of their later albums called "(DVD) Ateez - Take me home in Seoul 2022 The Fellowship Beginning concert."

Oh I understand how their debut era sound is not as epic as their newer music. That's why I love it actually because I can clearly hear that they worked really hard to improve their music and their talents. I know several groups that after years of work still maintain the same kind of standard for their music and that is not something I enjoy. I want to move forward and get better beside my idols you know what I mean? Any way that's my way of looking at Ateez discography. In the beginning they were young, adventurous and fun in a "innocent" kind of way but as they grow up and experience life their sound became more bold and angry (I say this as a compliment, anger is a beautiful emotion when used correctly) Soooo all this is to say that I know why you are underwhelmed lol I don't feel that way but I share a connection with them as Atiny that you may not have. I am a huge K-pop multi-stan. There are numerous groups that I stan, and some that I casually listen to. BTS will always and forever be my #1, and I love the journey you've been on so far in discovering them. Army first and then started listening to TXT. Then after I got into ATEEZ. I realized that I could like any group and each group has its own color and uniqueness and ATEEZ is definitely that. I think they have one of the best discography and in 4th gen and their energy and performances are insane. I say, listen and watch other groups too and just like who you like. I'm not very into album reactions, even when it comes to my favourite group, which in this case is ATEEZ. But I genuinely enjoyed the video and you just vibing to their music. It always warms my heart and makes me happy seeing other people enjoying their music or just content in general, as I think they are amazing, kind and funny beings. I feel very proud of them, seeing them grow since almost the beginning and I feel very close to them, probably since we are of the same age and their music very much hits the spot for me. I were never consistent with what I enjoy for a long time, but ATEEZ has been with me for years now and still going strong, so they may be doing something right for me to still love and enjoy their work as much as I did in the beginning. As an Atiny, of course I hope you will end up doing more content about ATEEZ, be it album reactions or any of their shows, etc., but I also understand the pressure that may be felt from people who want the channel to stay the same and don't like seeing other groups explored, so do what feels right for you!

My introduction to Kpop was Ateez. I love them so much for how hard working they are and each member’s personality. The music is so different from other groups also. I know not all their music speaks to others but I love it! They brought me to BTS and for that I will always love this group. BTS and Ateez are my ults. Ateez are monster performers and I’ve been fortunate to see them live twice in concert. Those shows were so amazing to be a part of.

No matter which fandom you are a part of, there should be no need to hate on another group or fandom. Everyone works hard, if you connect with one group and not another, then it should just be left at that. I went to the KBS Live Concert in New Jersey. Ateez and all the other artists that night were amazing. The reason any of them are on stage is because of their hardwork, talent, and loving fans. The only thing to note about BTS is that many use BTS to gain followers and then pretend like that's not what happened. As an Army, I will never get behind that and do not support many channels including those that don't wait the 24 hours of a mv release before dropping their reactions. Those channels, I cancel and the view is never given.

hello :) tiny here, who stumbled upon your video! firstly, thank you so much for listening through their first album! It always gives me so much joy whenever reactors really take their time to listen to music (doesn't matter what artist!) now as for ateez music and lyrics and overall sound: ATEEZ is my ult group and I casually listen to a lot of kpop groups and also stan quite a few. lately I've actually been getting into BTS (bc I listened to all their solo stuff and I really loved all of it and it got me super curious). After listening to like 6 of BTS albums over the course of 2 months I now totally understand why they're a lot of Armytinys. Honestly, musically it makes so much sense. ATEEZs sound is both VERY specific/unique and generally appealing at the same time, if you take time to listen through their discography. they've covered so many genres musically, it's almost impossible to NOT find something that suits your taste. as for the lyrics: a few other comments have already mentioned ATEEZs storyline/lore, which really does play a part in their writing. BUT almost all of their songs can be listened to in 2 ways, I call this "the A way" and "the Z way" (as a little joke to their artistic universe). If you listen to their songs the A-way you can just enjoy the lyrics and interpret them the way it suits you best. If you like songs with deeper meanings/emotional stories: they have a lot of them in the upcoming albums! I think their debut album lyrically had the heaviest pirate vibe, it kinda gets way more subtle/more clever the more their journey and album evolution progresses. As for the Z-way: thats a whole other story and as a loretiny (lore+ fandom name ATINY), I can only say: yes, there's a lot to unpack, but if you're into it, it's honestly so much fun to piece the puzzle together! I can always listen to their albums in these two ways, which doubles the fun for me :D I would love for you to go on this journey and come aboard our pirate ship! I swear to you, ATEEZ are outstanding artists and PERFORMERS. So to answer your question: you DEFINITELY have to watch dances practices and stages, because ATEEZ themselves have said: thats how you stan ATEEZ. You watch them perform. Glad you're getting back into Ateez, the are a spectacular group. I know a lot of armys are in the comments, but I was an Atiny before I became an Army. There's 8 members and ALL are incredible Performers, vocalists/rappers & dancers. They are called the "Standard of Performance in K-pop". There's only 1 English Speaker(he's still Korean), but the members try to learn English. Now, you are dissecting the lyrics and I am glad fort hat, so I'll give you a bit of a hint for the storyline of the Treasure Album Series. Basically, Ateez is split into world A & Z, With this, we also have Halateez, the cromer (it's an hour glass that allows them to travel across worlds a&z). With Ateez & Halateez (you'll notice sometimes Ateez are in black outfits, that's Halateez) they are the same, but also not (it's confusing for a reason). For the Treasure series, they are newly debuted, so a lot of the lyrics are "greedy" (they are greedy for success or treasure), they are passionate and even many times, separate in their thinking of success (that's part of the lore, but also their real history getting into being Idols). They mellow out throughout Treasure as they find their Treasure & grow as idols. But the songs are still hype asf, or amazing asf. You'll notice that Ateez tends to do double Tracks for their Titles, they are essentially opposites of each other, light & dark to each other (sometimes we're not sure if it's halateez or Ateez but other times we are sure, like with Answer music Video) For example, a song like Pirate King would have Twilight to be opposites. Other times, you won't know if its Ateez or Halateez. But 1 thing for sure is that Ateez were searching for something in the Treasure Series & eventually found it (you'll probably figure out what or who the treasure is lol) but kept going further an eneded up being stuck in world z ( i think) which is a place that doesnt allow art, creativity & music. so, they become heros, outlaws & start wars to help free people. Their music & writing grows throughout the ablums & even in the Treasure series, like they address struggles as youth & young adults, mental health & societal pressures (fever series), to name a few, similar to BTS, but agressivly (like i said, they start wars in their lore for this lol) They do this by telling us to be the light (halazia), to wake up (Outlaw series), to search for the treasure (treasure series). It's a lot deeper than I expected, and a lot of their lyrics meaning a lot to atinys. Thank you for the reaction tho. I would recommend a few deep songs, like Desire, Treasure+Precious & Mist (especially the live stage uploaded by user Sanie) with the Lyrics cause it's amazing. But they aren't only pirates anymore, they are guerillas, outlaw, dreamers, light (if you know the Ateez lore atiny, you know what I mean) and at the end of the day, normal ppl working hard to spread a message with each album. Hope you continue to check out their albums/ songs, even if in your free time. Also, thank u to the atinys and armys that were welcoming and remember Atinys; humble & kindness. PS. Army all day everyday of the week! But Ateez is just one of those groups that I admire, appreciate, and vibe with so much. I definitely do like their music (man, Jongho, Yeosang Seonghwa, and San got me in a chokehold with their vocals.) But I really love them for their personalities, and DANCE. I'm all in for ATEEZ! You should know they have 3 album series. The changes between series are greater than between albums. It's funny when I read comments saying all new boy groups sound the same. I can understand it from the standpoint that a lot of group in the last two years have come out with music with a similar sound to some of the songs you listened to here, but ATEEZ came out with this 5 years ago, so they're just catching up while ATEEZ has moved on. Normally, I recommend listening in order because the storyline will more sense, but if you're on the fence, listen to their latest album The World EP 2 Outlaw. I guarantee you'll wonder how they got from here to there.

I’ve been stalking your channel since your first Ateez reaction video because I really enjoyed your sincerity as a reactor. I hope your fall in love so I get to watch more videos with you! My favorite songs at the moment (they change with my mood) are all B-sides… Cyberpunk, Take Me Home, and Outlaw are my current favorite. Also, lately I’ve been dancing to To The Beat and The Leaders a good bit. Their latest album is insanely good… and different from any tracks I’ve ever heard. They did a showcase with some of the songs that was amazing. KQ is usually pretty reactor friendly, and they have a lot of content on their official channel. BTS was my introduction to K-pop and I love them! I became a fan late and didn’t get to go to one of their concerts in person. I think most Atiny’s (and all of Ateez) also love BTS.

I've been ARMY since 2016, and I've been ATINY (ATEEZ Fandom name) since April of 2018 when they released a series of 4 one minute dance video's that went viral, and may I say, u may want to check out those dance videos. They are so worth your time. But keep in mind, at the time, they were under the name of KQ FELLAS. That will help you find them. I don't know why some fans are like that, but you can like multiple groups and love them all different and the same all at the same time. Please don't let those fans stop you from exploring the world of k pop... there are so many groups, both male and female groups. Honeslty ateez is a type of group to have hard hitting tittle tracks and visit the softer side of their music on the bsides of the album. Even in their title tracks although it might be hard for some people to make sense of it a lot of their lyrics play into their storyline as well as just send a general message out.

I haven’t watched your reaction yet, because I am at work but I will watch later. I am ARMY but I do listen to songs here and their from other groups. I haven’t listened to much of ATEEZ music honestly so I look forward to see if their are any songs I might enjoy…Most of the time I only like a few songs or none in other albums (however sometime I like majority of an album) but I do give other groups albums listen occasionally to see if I like any songs. Edit: Also most ARMY really don’t care what you listen to.
