So happy for you that you can finally experience korea!!! I'm so glad you enjoyed your travels! A small correction, at the beginning you said that you hear people speak "Hangul". Hangul is the korean alphabet, so technically speaking - you can't speak Hangul. In Korea we call the Korean language "Hanguk-eo" (한국어, Hanguk meaning Korea and -eo being the suffix referring to the language spoken in a country). Hope that helped!! Oh and another little note in case you didnt know and are planing to return to korea: if you are wearing Hanbok, all palace entry is for free!!! no need for a ticket!:)

One recomendation for you Taz, when you take your eye makeup off, its better to soak up the cotton circle (like you did) and put it over your closed eyelid for a few seconds (like 5/10) and then swipe gently the cotton circle in one motion off your face. That way your eye doesnt get red and irritated, and you avoid getting wrinkles around your eyes. That motion you can repeat it a few times, gently, to get everything off.
