I have conferences for eight days and the students are released early so that teachers have the time to speak with parents via ZOOM. It is interesting to see how one or two students affect the dynamics of a class when they are absent. It is great to hear that your students are developing more independence and maturity. A great thing to do is ask your third grade colleagues what they expect students to be able to do when they are in their classrooms the following academic year. Take care.

As a third grade teacher my students are learning 3 digits in the beginning of the year! So all of your students are working so hard! My conferences are the 16th, 17th, and 18th of March! The 17th is a half and and is the first day of spring break! Our spring break the the 17th to the 28th of March. Times are 1:00 to 8:00! On the 17th and 12:00 to 5:00 on the 18th! When we do conferences, we do them on Wednesday and Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00! Loooong days but then we have Friday off.

Love the sweater. Maybe I will give teacher style box a try. We don’t have to a conferences with all of our parents only the ones that we have concerns with and our conferences are still remote. But we do get to be maskless come Monday😀
