When I was a kid, my grandma gave me these vintage magazines from the 70’s and 80’s called Cricket to read, and I remember a lot of the illustrations had to do with nature stuff and little bugs hanging out with each other, that’s what your book art reminds me of.

I think you’ve done a great job of combining your collage art and your drawing art. You can really see it especially with the frog paintings!! 🐸🌾🌿From far way they look like collage pieces!! ☺️♥️♥️♥️

I love the style you have going on with this project. It's very traditionnal and timely but at the same time there's so much depth and texture. Reminds me of Yuri Norstein's classic paper doll animation films such as "hedgehog in the fog". His wife Francheska Yarbusova is the one who painted all the characters by hand and her work is so beautiful and lively I love it.
