He eats the bento at room temperature. That is natural things for us. but I know many people (also Japanese) wanna heat it. so I recommend you to use the lunch box that is fine for microwave, if you wanna heat it ;)

If you look up the recipes she makes, you’ll find many variations online! :) I’ve looked up many and they seem to be typical Japanese lunches/dinners. They’re very good! We can always watch the channel for the charming Imamu-isms added to each dish :)

I am loving your daughter's ability with English and Japanese. She moves so fluently between the two! I wish I could do that! Must. Try. Harder!

You will be able to do it one day. When I learn a new language, I notice that I still translate in my head what I want to say until I become fluent in the new language

I was raised speaking Spanish first at home then learned English at school. I am now fluent in neither lol. So I will forget on word and say it in the other language

@@caramel7168 It is, though as someone learning a second language as an adult, it is perfectly accomplishable. It might take longer to gain fluency, and oftentimes it is harder to mimic the sounds exactly, though usually the initial process of learning the language is the most difficult. When one persists with it, it tends to become easier over time.

Your husband does an excellent job of washing the dishes. I was quite impressed. It's also nice to see that you are teaching your daughter to be bilingual. That will help her a lot in the future.

I always wondered if Imamu was their family last name... and then today I realized it's probably umami spelled backwards. Am I the only one who was this slow to realize that 😅😅 It's a fitting name, especially since all of her recipes look so delicious!

This channel has taught me so many new cooking ideas. One of my favorites? Any sauce plus mayo makes a tasty new sauce. I have yet to find a bad combo. 😂

I really like the idea of just putting some condiments or seasoning and you can turn it into a simple salad. I always love the different things. She comes up. Her target sauce also looks amazing

I had to leave another comment. I love that you didn't "correct" your daughter when she poured the eggs into the bento box from the cup where you had so carefully placed them. 24:08 Letting her "help" pack her own lunch leads to kids having confidence in their own abilities, and also helps forge a good relationship between the two of you. Well-done on your parenting. :-) Thank you again for your outstanding work.

I've never even heard of fried parsley before. In Germany (and mostly all around Europe) we normally use it raw, as a garnish or part of a salad. Flat parsley salad is to die for ❤ Anyway, it was very interesting to see someone actually fry parsley!

My husband never washed the pots ever…… so …..I got rid of the husband and brought a dishwasher, now I always have clean pots!!!!!
