Wow! Was delighted to see you, your Dad, and your Brother enjoy San Francisco; great to see some of my old haunts. I lived there from 1972 to 1978, then again in the Bay Area from 1982 until my Partner and I moved to the Northern Californian mountains in 1987. I have been back only a few times since. When Family and Friends came for a visit I would take them to the City side of the Golden Gate Bridge and told them to get out of the car and view the cable exhibit. When they were all out, I would slowly drive away and say, "See you on the other side!" The shock look on their faces was flawless. I would drive over to the Vista Point, then walk out on the bridge meeting them all at the half way point. The glee on their faces was so precious as they were taking photos. Then we drive into Sausalito have a meal, then I would get them on the ferry back to the City while I drove and met them all as the ferry was pulling into the Ferry Building. Later on I gave each a copy of my VHS video of their stay. Thank you for sharing; it gave me a moment to reminisce. But, the happy Holly and the joy on Carlo´s face said, "There´s no place like Home!"

I just came this older video and I can’t believe you were visiting San Francisco. ❤️ That’s where I grew up but now l live 45 minutes North in Sonoma for the last 35 years. I hope you can come out this way again and you can stay in our home. The wine country is beautiful. When my children were younger we would bring a turkey every Thanksgiving to Glide Memorial to help feed the homeless. 🥰🤗🍋

Awesome vlog! Going back to some older vlogs after seeing your recent interview. I too had a migraine on arrival for a wedding in San Fran (took me out for half a day) so I now travel with Maxalt. Aren't those seals precious for about 15 minutes ? Loved the end with Holly.....she has our hearts

Been catching up on your videos. My girlfriend and I are heading to Italy once this Covid thing is over to live. We each have been there several times over the years. If you haven't been to Big Sur, south of San Francisco, you should have your brother take you. It looks very much like the Amalfi Coast, less all the buildings. We enjoy your diaries.

I have family is San Diego so we have visited there many times but I love San Francisco. Muir Woods, Sausalito and wine country are just beautiful. Hope you enjoyed it, Holy so happy brings a smile. These wonderful pets in our lives that remind us how happiness is just so simple, seeing the one you love and being with them!❤️

Omg...your dad looked a bit tired after walking 4hrs (15km). Harry(your dad), certainly is very fit and he is determined to stay fit. Thank goodness you got an uber home. The seals on that floating man made island sounded like a wildlife reserve. So close to the city. Very nice to see that they have somewhere to go. I guess their original beach has been taken up with ships and people. Very interesting place. Positana is much prettier. Lovely welcome home from Holly poo. Waggle on that tail was better than any words. She was v0⁰ery excited to see mummy home. Carlos's big happy grin to see you must have melted your heart!! 🧡💚💙💛 love this half instagram half video. They used to have a fantastic farmers market at the Ferry Building. I live across the bay between Oakland and San Jose.As much as i enjoy traveling, it’s so wonderful to be home again.

We went to SF on February 2020 and i believe i recognise the restaurant you are in in Sausalito. "The Fish" or something like that. We ate outside it was sunny food was decent. We went there with bicycles and came back by boat! I love SF and always go back whenever i have the chance to.

Was rthis during the wildfires? That smoke was horrible wasn’t it? I live across the bay in Fremont, about 45 minutes from Pier 39. Your messages up on screen came up so quickly I wasn’t wasn’t able to read them before they were gone. So could you allow them to remain up a bit longer next time? Even Smokey it’s still a beautiful city. I’m going to miss the Bay Area when we get settled in little Florence Oregon. I’m going to miss the weather, concerts and comedy shows too. Fine dining, our barking sea lions. ❤️

I am sure 🐶Holly see you packing your suitcase they normally know, she's like my dogs very close to humans the way they make their noises. Been to San Francisco was OK didn't like the homeless/beggars in the streets. The breakfast🤔 those big pancakes. But glade you visit your bother. But I am am sure you were glade to be home. Nicky what age ate your Dad he still looked very healthy.😊
