Congratulations on all your organizing and on keeping some balance with trips to the beach and the museum and coffee by the shore- well done. I love the red colour of your test knit- so vibrant and the sweater you are frogging back to the yoke is lovely too. It makes want to cast on a sweater right now, but, I am in Northern Alberta, Canada looking after my grandsons while my kids enjoy a much needed holiday away, so I only have travel knits with me until I fly home to BC next week. I so need to organize my stash and de-stash yarns I no longer get joy from using when I get home. You have inspired me to get on it. I even have some of those large zip locks to sort some sweater quantities in. Looking forward to seeing your completed sweaters. 💜

Hi Jennifer, thank you so much for watching and I’m glad that sorting through my stash has inspired you to do the same. It does feel nice to get things in order, but also makes us appreciate what we’ve already got and perhaps it will spark some inspiration for what you can cast on next 😃. I can highly recommend those Ziploc bags, and you can see exactly what you have. Otherwise some clear can stackable containers are good as well. That’s so lovely of you to be looking after the grandkids to give your own kids a lovely holiday and break to recharge. I hope you’re having a wonderful time with your grandchildren and that you travel home safely.

Hi Sian, great video! The Chanel exhibit was so inspiring; there was a crocheted piece in the last room that was really exciting to see. Thank you for sharing your time off with us!

Hi Audrey, thank you so much for watching! Oh yes I did see that crocheted piece 💕. I actually forgot to take some photos in the last room as I was mesmerised by the cream and gold lame/lurex pieces 😂 and then a woman walked into the room in this amazing silver blazer and I got distracted I just wish that the exhibition had better lighting or that they had placed some mirrors behind each of the garments so that we could see the full piece. But yes overall it was very inspiring and might prompt me to get back into sewing.

I love walking around Flinders, todays beach walk for me was Balnarring to Merricks and back, so cathartic. I am very blessed to live on the Mornington peninsula. Good to see you taking time out for some self care, it’s so important particularly in today’s hustle bustle world. I too have stash envy! 😂💗

Wonderful! That walk through Balnarring and Merricks is lovely! It would really be lovely to live down your way. The commute to the city will be a pain once we're back in the office, but weekends will be worth it :D

Glad you enjoyed it! As much as I dislike cleaning, organising is so much more fun :D
