​@@YelloHoes but out of a 2000 calories daily allowance where mike has already stated he'll be under - 5 calories won't make much difference at all. 5 calories out of 2000 is 0.25%. 5 calories out of his total today of 1037 is 0.48% amount, so it's not a huge amount, it's relatively negligible. If you were having this every day and you ended up on 1937+10 calories daily (because you had sauce twice a day) you'd only add a percentage onto the amount of calories you're having. (1047*7)/(1037*7)*100=100.96% I.e. if you had 10 calories of sauce extra for a week. You'd only consume an extra 0.96% of your calories that week. Than if you didn't have sauce at all. Considering you're waaaaay below 2000 calories a day. And well before 1200 calories, I think it's a negligible amount. I think for diets to remain consistent and not crash or yo-yo diets. They need to be sustainable. (Like Greg Doucettes philosophy). Therefore they need to be enjoyable. If 5 calories of sauce allows that. I think it's okay. Especially these days where you could buy sauce from the skinny dip Co and add sauce at home if you really wanted.

I've done this! All be it by accident. My son was in hospital for a week after an open heart procedure and Southampton hospital has a Subway in the foyer. Quick and cheap and the healthiest option there. Still can't face a sub and it's nearly 2 years ago!

As an ex employee, the breakfast menu is pretty banging, just ask them to toast the bread double and microwave the sausage, a lot of places don't defrost them enough. Avoid teriyaki and depending where you are, the tikka. Meatballs are always fine, some of the veg like corn or the smaller containers can be off too.

I apologize in advance as a Subway 'Sandwich Artist'... Not really lol! I love the sandwiches honestly, but to be truthful, some of those sandwiches are CALORIE BOMBS! The best I can suggest are the Turkey Breast and Chicken Breast, use the flatbread or the Whole Wheat breads, and load up on veggies (or for picky anti-veg peeps like me, SPINACH). Avoid sauces (except pesto, if you got it in your shop).

@@carnivore-muscle Fair enough. But the rest is sound. Tailor to personal taste, but yeah, sauces (especially the Mayos and the Chipotle Sauce) are huge sabotages if you want to lose weight. And for Vegans, the Veggie Patty is essentially a Hasbrown with veggies chopped up. Tasty, but I'd recommend it as a breakfast option otherwise.

Subway in Aus doesn't offer sweet corn........ also you get some different coloured capsicum we just have green (bell pepper or whatever you call it) my go to is usually a chicken fillet with spinach or lettuce, capsicum, onion and jalapenos... bit of mayo and salt and pepper. Though the last time I went they had some crunchy sesame bread which was nice for a change. Great vid!

I kind of did similar to this when I worked at a Walmart with a subway attached - either because the intense physical labor or the food, I lost a surprising amount of weight without changing my eating habits in the slightest. I ate when I was hungry and ate a relatively unnecessary amount.

I use to love Subway until I found a piece of hard plastic in my sandwich that I almost choked on. Took it back to the shop and they could not have cared less even blaming me.
