No the lion stamp doesn't have anything to do with the welfare of the chickens and whether they are battery farmed, its just means they come up to standard and are safe to eat. it states on the box they are from caged hens

Karina Hilton yes it basically confirms that the chickens that produce the eggs are vaccinated against salmonella and have not tested positive for salmonella in routine testing. So the eggs can be eaten raw or undercooked even by vulnerable groups

If your value cereals taste stale, pop them in a medium oven for about 4-5 minutes then cool to room temperature before returning them to an airtight container (zip lock bag). Usually cost saving on packaging can be the culprit, not the product itself.

Grilling cheese is stuff like halloumi, it's very tough so you can grill it without it being melting on you. Have it in a wrap or sandwich or stuff it down your gob, be sure to eat it hot though.

I regularly get my shopping delivered from Morrison's and one of their delivery drivers once told me that they don't put absolutely everything on their website. My cat prefers their cheapest cat litter to the more expensive woodchip variety that I used to get. But, he's a Geordie cat, so it's no use refining him, lol.

Yes, grilling cheese is a thing, and it's delicious. Just be careful, it gets extremely hot and holds that temperature for quite a while. Well, at least the oven stopped working on its own this time, you didn't obliterate the door again. 😉 Grace has been given the perfect name, she is truly a grace. The Morrisons website is run in conjunction with Ocado (soon to be Amazon). It is not strictly like other supermarket websites as the agreement between the companies covers sales targets and a maximum number of products. Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury's all run their own websites so they can list what they want regardless of sales. Morrisons are moving to Amazon where the range offered is set to increase under the new deal with Amazon

Not all items are stocked in/come from the same warehouse, therefore aren't able to offer the full range online. It wouldn't be cost effective for them to have to travel to different warehouses to fulfil each persons specific order.

The British lion quality mark on the eggs is a food safety mark and nothing to do with battery or free range status-your not going to get 15 free range eggs for £1.20.Those eggs are definitely from caged hens

There is no Tesco Value now, they've branded them as "Stockwell" and "Ms Molly" and probably other names that I don't know. A genius move as now you can buy them without the imagined stigma and soul destroying/this is nasty plain packaging. Good food at low prices. I don't work for Tesco btw, I just refuse to let them tell me what is finest.

Morrison's don't deliver from a local store, it's from a central warehouse per region which is run by online only supermarket Ocado, It's the same delivery drivers, different vans

@Marie I order my shopping from Morrisons every week. I realised it was Ocado doing the delivery when I returned a call from a driver who was late and he answered "Ocado, can I help you?". I then asked a few drivers who confirmed that they delivered for both from the same central warehouse.

Don't they do their own brand of M Saver butter/spread? It's often easier and cheaper in the long run just to replace the oven too when our oven door broke it cost £130 to replace the door and £160 to replace the oven. Just turned out easier to replace.

I had this trouble the other week on Morrison's website. If you look up "M savers bread" on Google you'll get a link to the product and it'll tell you "Out of stock" How hard is it to have it in the search results with "Out of stock" next to it? PS: That cheese pasta looks delish!
