Hi guys a lovely video ! it takes me back to my youth ! at Torran bay lochside ford , and fishing there , in loch awe ! and living a few hundred yards from the loch , in late 1950s / 60s , and still nights when the loch was cam, in late august , and seeing pike / salmon breaking the surface , magic ! and getting electricity in july 66 in time to get ready for the world cup , and my father had brought a t.v. up from london to watch it ! and seeing your lady making a meal fit for the gods , theres nothing like it ! having a break there is pure medicine for the inner soul ! thanks for taking me back there , as I ve not been home since 71 . though most of my family rest in, grounds of, Kilmartin church now . cheers and best wishes from rural france ritchie .

Good to see both of you back out in the middle of nowhere again!! I was camping and fishing at Arrochar years ago and heard one of my pots getting dragged about in the middle of the night Turned out that was a Pine Martin as I seen it the next day eating mussels about 20 yards from my tent.

@mjbooth10002 жыл бұрын
Hi Mate, sorry i dont but im sure if you ask at a local fishing shop they will be able to tell you some local places that will be suitable for you… what i can say is Loch Awe is quite a hard place to fish if you are new to it… I personally think a small loch for you would be ideal mate… sorry i cant help you further but i wish you tight lines and hope you get the pike bug!!!! They are awesome fish and fight like steam trains lol… best Mike

@mjbooth10003 жыл бұрын
Hi, yes there are loads of great spots dotted all over the loch (on each side)….. we have never had problems leaving car, but you need to be mindful that it it doesn’t block other cars users (locals) or park in a passing points… im sure you will find MANY suitable places 👍👍👍 hope you enjoy
