Wow, what a beautiful cabin out there in those gorgeous woods! As family, you really enjoyed that weekend away from home! Lou and Coco, really enjoyed it too. I was hoping that Lou, would wonder into the stream but it seems that the stream was rushing fast. So maybe best Lou and Coco, stayed on rocks and shore! Our Standard Dachshund, Chiquita, often eats grass too. I think she is really a small cow in disguise!😀 She likes to bark back at Loulou and Coco when I play these videos.

This reminded me of going to my fathers cabin with my longhair dachs and she would keep pace with me into the wilderness, but when we headed home she would run from me and wait for me further down the way we came. And she loved to lay in the heat from the fireplace. A wild beast running free, and a coach potato indoors.

The cabin and the surroundings are beautiful. ❤Awww at 0:21 Coco's face reminded me of my sweet Hermès, she was a Doberman and lived happily until the old ripe age of 16 years old! They always have to check each other's bowl it makes me laugh everytime😂👍

like those "helicopter" ears (thats what we call them)...these pups are such good video stars, my dogs run away from the camera!...whoa, big cat...a big thank you to Romy & Claire the "accidental" video appearances, again they are such good sports, we know that LL & CC really want to be video stars, even if they are working for a treat, they are great & you are the BEST handler...those are nice travel bowls, keeps everything neat & clean...oh boy sticks! our favorite!...oh great portrait on the stairs...so brave by the swift water....thanks for taking us all along :)

Again a beautiful video of Loulou and Coco. When you mentioned the Ardennes, it got me thinking that I know this place. I am a history buff. The Ardennes is where one of the fiercest battles of WW2 happened. The battle of the bulge. I am very happy that it has returned to nature and is a beautiful peaceful place.

I'm so used to seeing Coco's bowl.on the left and LouLou's on the right that when they ate here, I thought "Whoa! Coco finished FAST." But it was Loulou, of course. Lesson: tell them apart not by whose bowl is on the left or right, but by which of them eats deliberately (Coco) and which one inhales it (Loulou).

Hi Eveline! I still can’t get over the textural quality of the forest videos! The sunbeams, crunching leaves, and running streams are so relaxing.🦢 I could almost feel you scratching my girl Loulou The Leader. She was also very focused in the car😁 It was a nice surprise to learn that Coco Puff is the more playful one and is quite adept at fetching such large sticks. As a cat owner, I can tell you that that tabby would only approach fellow creatures that it knew were of similar sensibilities😀 Take care!

You don't have to worry about ticks and snakes in the grass and woods? I'm waiting for the winter to become really cold before we venture out, looks like it will be this week, 1 - 14 degrees. But the snake experts tell me they still come out to catch some warmth on the rocks or sand when the sun comes out, I'm so petrified of losing another sausage from a snake! We try go ahead to check the trails but the dogs are much faster than us!
