I used to live in Kodiak for 12 years and I tell ya it was beautiful living there as a kid til my middleschoolyears, my grandparents live in the village of Old Harbor which is located on the south side of Kodiak island. Real beautiful village along with the other villages around Kodiak, makes me miss my hometown alot because that's where i made alot of friends and also my cousins lived too so pretty much my whole family lived in Kodiak and the ones who were in the village of OLH.

I lived in Kodiak in the late 1960s. My father was in the Navy. I was a little kid, but I watched your video to see if anything looked familiar. Your video made me want to go back!

I love the beauty of Alaska and it was a smart move to not do the swing off the side of the mountain!

I havent been on that Bouy swing , but if it anything like the other bouy swing hidden in the woods between bever and dark lake area , then you have to look for a tree with a line tied into it with a loop. Throw the loop over the bouy and grab the rope , climb rhe tree , take the rope off the bouy and flyy. Again make sure you take the loop off before jumping.. watched my buddy get sling shot down a big ass hill lol

@@RaarupAdventures For your next Trip to our Northern most Hawaiian Island Kodiak. You have to film a few Kodiak Coastal Brown Bears to draw more people to your video. If you come in middle of August or September you can see them from your car almost every day feeding on Pink Salmon in all the streams you drove by. Drop me a line if have any Question or need some Idea's 🙂
