Hi Echo! I just wanted to say somethin real quick before i get in trouble for not going to sleep... i wanted to say thank YOU for inspiring me to draw more and be artistic. Dear Echo. I am a huge fan and you inspire me so much. A few months ago, I used to drew manga and cartoon-y characters a lot. Then I started looking up "Manga for Beginners" and I couldn't follow the tutorials, I would watch drawing and art channels on KZbin, and their art was so much better then what I would draw, so I decided to quit drawing all together, and scrapped my "hobby", and I haven't done any drawing since. But today, I was watching this video, and your soul character inspired me so much. It was simple and cute and seemed like a good art style to begin on. God how I wish I had my drawings saved from my early days of drawing. For years, I kinda just....drew. I never saw it as a big deal, so most of it got randomly thrown wherever or just thrown out. I would draw something then not really have a reason to save it, so I didn't. Of course, NOW I save things, but I lack ideas. As I've gotten older, I've lost any sense of imagination. Due to that, I don't draw nearly as much as I should. Hell, I've been on the same 100 page sketchbook since 2011. I've spent some of that time on digital art, but even then it's 2-3 things a month at most, usually less. Another slight issue Ihave with drawing, is that any time I sketch something I somewhat like, I'm afraid of messing it up, so I rarely FINISH anything.

I've always thought I was a bad drawer, and my friends have agreed with that so I've never really tried to even draw anything other than stick figures. Because of her, who I literally JUST started watching videos of, and my desire to be good at everything artistic I'm gonna start drawing again. I think that it's harder to draw the opposite gender of yourself I guess since you are the gender that you find easier to draw that you can understand the gender and draw it better
