I went to the rally/protest in Ottawa today. It was a cold and rainy day. There were thousands of pro Palestinian, primarily middle eastern, people present. I heard and filmed the standard chants (for civilized Canada... none of what you hear elsewhere); there were youth in pick-ups with Palestinian flags waving (sort-of, it was raining right) blocking intersections, honking, running red lights and the other things foolish youth do. It was orderly, but what really surprised me was the number of young children carrying Palestinian flags. indoctrination is real my friends, even when in the west.

It's the same all over the West which has slept its way to its own destruction. e.g. London, UK is dead. 100,000 pro-Hamas people marched in London streets. They openly went after Jews chanting "we want their blood". The UK authorities did nothing & stayed silent. The London police did nothing - after all their boss is Sadiq Khan whose goal is to destroy London. Muslim police officers in London have openly marched with the pro-Hamas mobs but no action has been taken against them. A London Tube driver told passengers on his train to chant pro-Palestine slogans with him. He shouted the slogans on the train's PA system. He has faced no action by authorities. Similar mobs are fighting police in US cities, chanting anti-America slogans, and attacking Jewish citizens too. One Jewish woman was stabbed to death on the steps of her synagogue. There was even an incident in Beijing where an Israeli diplomat was stabbed on the street in broad daylight.

When I completed a postdoctoral fellowship in critical theory and all the related offshoots twenty years ago, I was coming off having worked in a medical research environment for 8 years and having completed a PhD in measurement and statistics. Exclusively on the quantitative end of the epistemological spectrum. Having a deep interest in epistemology, and given all the rage of qualitative research at the time, and wanting to "round out" my skillset to include both quantitative and qualitative methods, I was drawn to critical theory mostly because it was weird and interesting and divergently opposed to anything quantitative. However, after completing my postdoc, I walked away essentially thinking, "well, that was pretty interesting and a different analytical lens to use in addition to and in compliment of other methodologies, but ultimately useless and focused exclusively (and explicitly on) deconstruction while offering ZERO suggestions or remedies other than bringing every institution down from the inside. But at the time it was boxed up and presented as just another qualitative research method among many. What it has morphed into and how it's been weaponized (even more than it inherently is) is absolutely mind-boggling to me. And yet, here we are...

Some have admitted in writing that they don't really believe in no moral foundations or whatever but it is a useful tool to undermine people's confidence in their own beliefs so that the teacher can then replace those beliefs with her own. I am a 60 yo Canadian, and terrified and appalled by everything what is going on in Canadian society now, from litter boxes in schools all the way to “kids” protesting against Israeli “colonialism and apartheid”. I was born in Israel, living in the U.S for many years now . I was a soldier in the Yom Kippur war , Just leave it to Israel to figure out how to do it … most likely the Arab countries will need to absorb the Palestinians, even they don’t want to , because they bring trouble where ever they go .. I think Gaza is done , it was given to the Palestinians as a settlement I think after one of the wars , so I believe Israel will just take it back because in the past the 2 states solution was introduced and twice Israel said o.k and the Palestinians said no … so that was their last chance to live in peace, but now I think this is no longer on the table …

For the Palestinian people to have peace they have to get rid of all the terrorist groups in Gaza. There are other groups not just Hamas. Israel has offered Gaza statehood 3 times and every time they have said NO.

Hello, I'm from Israel. I'll try to answear your questians as I understand the situation. first of all as hamas is an idea/movement, we can never destroy it completely. But we can make sure they don't have miletary and authorative power in gaza specifically (and in the west bank). for the day after, no one has a certain plan but one thing is sure: we don't want to control gaza. we got out of there for a reason, to pursue peace and that hasn't changed. the control of gaza will probably be transfered to the hands of the palestinian authorities in the west bank or some other organization/country, as to be decided by the UN and muslim world.

As a former LEO Diver (They call it Dive/Rescue but it's Dive/Recovery) a lot of bodies sink at first after drowning (the buoyancy is lost due to the lung filling with fluid). As the gas in the body tries to float, it will resurface. I have been on scene in ten minutes and taken over forty-five to recover the body in dark water less than 15 feet deep. Family members saw him go under and couldn't find or save him. I am not saying this isn't a complete cover up, I mean who the hell paddle boards in the nude?

I actually don´t know what to say, but I am very concerned about the near future. I also find it astounding, that some people doubt the atrocities commited by Hamas, when they themselves filmed their cruelties and loaded it up on social media. They showed it to the world and bragged about it! And then people go like "Yes, but the story with the beheaded babies isn´t true!"? I mean, what the hell ....?

Hey man, first of all God bless you for the work you intend to do, greatly appreciated. I don't have a problem at all with anyone criticizing Hamas, I personally am against their ideology and what they represent. The problem is the fact that the West, especially the remaining sane Godfearing few, still view this as a battle of good vs evil like Bibi said, it really isn't. And it breaks my heart that supposed believers wouldn't stand for what's right, and for those who are truly oppressed, or even condone the killing of the 3000+ babies who have passed away this past month. And tbh it's very offensive to compare the misery of everyday Palestinians to first world problems like LGBTQ rights and BIPOC, etc. No offense to any of them but what the Palestinians have been going through is unimageable and incomparable to any situation other than the South African apartheid regime. The West Bank, which is the other part of Palestine, not controlled by Ha m s at all, 80 people have been killed by Israeli occupation before October, and 120+ this month. So, it's really not at all as it might seem to you that it's about religion, Fatah may use catchy words and participate in political debates, but they still have their armed militia. Ha m s does add religion to the equation but that doesn't simply negate the fact that their cause is just: People living on a land should have equal rights to self-determination and sovereignty. And the fact that the civilized West that's supposedly built on Christian morals can't sympathize with that creates a schism within the body of Christ and distances us living here from you. It's completely fine and very doable to criticize Ha m s and their killing of innocent civilians and still criticize Israel for taking people's land, and killing 8-9x as many innocent civilians, and stand with the truly oppressed people of not just Gaza but all over Palestine and support their right to life. God bless you for your work.

Not a word out of place, though, unfortunately, I estimate it will fall on deaf ears. The people holding to such attitudes are inherently incapable of seeing beyond the end of their noses and would rather root for the so-called "oppressed" even as they go on a barbaric rampage, than admit any mistake on their part.
