The entire continent has that problem ,coming to work they think they are giving you favor and they don’t care to lose anything even if they are struggling.

I greatly appreciate a lot of advice Oshay gives on this channel and all his other channels as well. Interesting topics he has done have been on the following: How to avoid getting scammed in Africa How to increase collaboration/ networks in Africa Advice for black people in 2022 How to change your life in one year etc. After watching an episode he did on one of his other channels on the situation with Kanye West. The biggest lesson l got from that episode is Success is always the best revenge.

Good balanced discussion. I find employees in Africa also think they are doing the employer a favor by coming to work and feel a sense of entitlement as if an employer should solve all their life's problems. There has to be a balance between meeting their needs and the company's needs especially in the early years where profits have to be reinvested in order for the business to grow.

11:06 Take notes, that's the defining factor of owning a business vs being self employed. If you can't leave that business alone for months or a year, and come back and the business is still running, then you're not a business owner, but rather a self employee. Most of what got exposed during the pandemic. Robert Kiyosaki, The Cashflow Quadrant.

I hate to say but it’s true, some people in africa don’t understand the value of a job, it’s quick money all the time, they need training, just keep firing them and eventually you’ll find good workers. Even the farm up guy had the issue, I have experienced it myself in Zambia, even in Ghana people are experiencing the same issue. But I have to end by saying even in Australia this happens

There is a lot of scumbag in the continent. I'm talking from a perspective of someone who was in both side, employee and employer. The problem of this all come down to law enforcement, and poverty. If the laws were enforced properly, people would not even dear to steal from their employer. It is not that people in Dubai don't want to steal... The reality is, they have laws the deter such behaviors. But... it is not possible to enforce law on everyone, especially when most people are poor, and can't see their life beyond the next meal.

The world is stealing from Africa, so I'm not faulting Africa for stealing from foreigners. I've walked the streets of Uganda and it is what it is: Desperate times call for desperate measures. And this is coming from a man who strives for righteousness. The poverty my eyes have seen in Uganda, I couldn't even get mad when I got scammed. On another note, of course "so-called" African Americans understand Ugandans and are similar, particularly Bantus; we're of the *same* people.

Juanita you are a ugandan have you made a survey or tried to ask why thy do it ugandans have been abused in those factories, under pay (50)per mth, on this money thy have to pay transport, medical bills, some aren't given lunch or breakfast. When they try to complain or strike its the bullets, tear gas in the end thy are branded lazy. Some gals are abused sexual coz the law won't work here. The exploitation is to much. Mbu thy want quick money really are there laws which protect workers in this country. When we complain about these employers does the government listen only tear gas, bullets will answer you not the pain torture, abuse so don't brand them wanting Quick money or lazy. Employers shd learn to treat others like humans. Foreign companies come take everything from us and leave us with crumbs unfortunately we the consumers are accompolise in this we can't stand as one on all injustices committed on our selves
@claudineallen56012 жыл бұрын
The intention of seeing a need and fulfilling it is commendable. Your love and desire to bring sustainable livelihood to people is a reflection on your heart. Unfortunately most people who do wrong have a heart problem. Ugandans according to research is 80 or so percent Christians and as the young lady says they know the commandment of thou shall not steal. Covet and so on Ex 20. What people fail to realize both Employers and their workers is that God is watching. As you say moral integrity is a great part of the human make up, on the other hand there is free will. If a person choose to do right he/she will. For Employers...Lev 19:13 says do not cheat or defraud your workers; James 5:4 let us know God, the Creator hears the cries of workers cheated of their wages. For workers who are slack, lazy and steal from those who trust them Eph 4:28 says that those who labor should not steal but do honest work; phil 2: 14-15....do your job without murmering or complaining. People don't have to cheat and steal.God is not mock..He sees and knows all and is forgiving but the time will come when He says enough is enough. The media speaks so much about corruption in and the world all over. It is bothersome to me when Africa is more emphasized in this.. That is why many country cannot move forward and prosper. This program you are doing is a good thing and as you patiently work with your employees you will reap tremendously. Because despite the challenges you are hammering forward tenaciously. In due time you will reap....the Word of God do not lie whether one beleive it or not. Peace and blessings. Keep up this good work.
