Have they ever thought of using a helicopter?
@covodex5163 жыл бұрын
have you thought about how much that would cost? You would still need to do all that preparation work, so after that it's truck vs. heli costs and the truck wins heavily in that competition. If you're referring to the time limit the winter would set them till the roads get impassable - thats mostly just typical TV dramatization. Im pretty sure they never were in any real rush.

That flip at 7:30 was not as gentle as possible - not even a little bit.

Flipping it was cringeworthy what they should’ve done is threw a pile of dirt in front and let it fall in the soft dirt “fluff”instead of Virgin ground to eliminate, almost completely, the chances of the jar shattering the fossil. If you gentlemen need a experienced operator to show you what those machines are capable of in the right hands I’d be glad to help I’ve always wanted to do archeological type work like this

It would’ve thrown that little thing around like a catapult Should’ve just thrown up dirt on the backside and let it hit the soft dirt at a 45 degree angle then walked it out of the hole with both machines facing each other so both could lift and go in a straight line back and forth to wiggle it out

How many times do you have to state? They are forming a steel roll cage to protect the bones when they roll them over so far. You've done it 4 times how many more times do you have to reset the obvious that you have already Stated?

@covodex5163 жыл бұрын
lol, what. Why would they? You think that, with tax payers still complaining about NASA's ludicrously small budget being wasted money while NASA actually made some very useful technological advances, they would be fine with paying for digging up old bones? Im fully on your side, this is something I would be fine paying taxes for. I would be, but most people wouldn't. And so, the government doesn't really spend anything on that. They indirectly do by the money some big universities recieve which then in turn invest this money into things like that, but it's not anywhere near to be enough.
