The plaintiff and defendant used to be friends. The plaintiff says she agreed to babysit the defendant’s four kids while she also had her own two kids there. The plaintiff alleges the defendant’s son damaged her TV while playing a video game, so she’s suing for the value of a television. The defendant argues the plaintiff should’ve been supervising the children better, so she doesn’t think she owes the plaintiff any money. She’s countersuing for emotional distress.

There was never any problem with her mistreating them. Yet when your hyper son causes damages in her home, you don’t think you should be responsible. I think you’ll have a harder time finding someone willing to have yours and your children’s back like this woman did, than just giving her $500. You are upset because you’re use to her being so nice and you don’t appreciate her asserting herself. Her children have gone without a television for a year because she helped you. It amazes me how to defend it can't take responsibility for something her child did. And she blatantly said that her child has problems. That he can't stay away from the TV. But yet she wants to end the friendship because she feels that the plaintiff should have been washing her crazy son closer.
