My sister and I use to be like this. Worse. Fist fights, ruining each other’s lives. Insanity. Our Mother use to play us against each other. She enjoyed the drama, fed off it. We both ended up on drugs, and this went on for 20 years. We couldn’t even be in the same room. People couldn’t invite both of us places. It was ridiculous and such an absolute waste of precious time. Now we’re both sober, and she’s my best friend and what’s even better is our kids are best friends. More like siblings. We both cut my mom, the drugs, and the bullshit out and focused on was really important and we finally got it right. There’s nothing like it, having a sister who is also you’re best friend. I hope these ladies figure that out sooner than later.

The defendant is why I stop talking to 98% of my family. Most of my family is just like her. Even when proven wrong she still has no remorse. Her attitude is why you can't hold on to that family bond theory. You can't pick your family, but you can pick your friends and lovers. The judge can only keep that legacy with her children if she shows them how it's done... If not, this is the result.

And that's just not case, every situation is diff. People get caught up in all that tv fantasy bs perfect this, perfect normal tv bonding crap, but in reality that's not the case across the board. If the bond wasn't created, and constantly worked and had a chance to grow, then there's just nothing there. Except distance, knowledge ur related, but nothing deep or serious or love filled. It's like dealing with strangers or co workers. In my opinion, especially if there's no history filled with love, laughter, trust, closeness, respect, and like. U just can't expect people to build that overnight when their grown just saying. Get tired of people acting like everyone should see their relatives the same way. The bonds have to be built and built strong. Otherwise, it's all surface, so why not treat them like a co worker or whatever. In my family we have an agreement between the siblings, that no matter how upset we are with each other the kids are not involved. Meaning you cant keep them from anyone. Growing up the adults would pull that crap and the only thing it did was make us hate our Cousins. As an adult we realized we didn’t have issues with our cousins it was the drama surrounding the parents.
@kyliemarie63862 жыл бұрын
My brother and I didn’t specifically make that agreement verbally but it’s like an unspoken rule between us. @@tempgirl00711 Ex husband and I got along we were meant to be friends not partners and we were friends after the divorce until he met...HERRRR🤣 I couldn't believe how spineless my ex was but I believe that's why I left him because he wanted me to be a nag and I don't play being Nanny to my husband. So good while going through our divorce we were both instructed not to talk about the differences we had between each other and stay focused on good parenting. Honest, I want to what was best for my daughter I never spoke bad about him and I hardly spoke about him maybe. In her bedroom I even let her put a picture of her daddy next to her bed. Unbeknownst to me, and now that my daughter is grown up I find out that they played against the rules. Nevertheless throughout my daughter's upbringing I did let her know if he ever have questions about anything just ask and never be afraid to ask and then she got old enough to where I could tell her Daddy and Mommy have our differences but it doesn't mean that we can't raise you together. We need to keep our differences away from you and her jaw dropped and she said why does daddy talk bad about you all the time. Her stepmother was horrible and my daughter was a threat to her. I explained to my daughter she enjoys getting you upset. You've always been the type of person to be able to tolerate childish behavior. Understand that she's she's very immature and probably wants your dad all true herself so she doesn't want you around but you have a right to be there so don't let her bother you and furthermore you could tell her you're not going anywhere so we might as well get along. I tried everything with positive for my daughter to get along with her stepmom and to tolerate it unbelievable how some witches are I'm not kidding I could turn this into novel I'm going to end it right here cuz I feel my blood pressure Rising have a great week everybody

My ex along with his mom and sister did this. Would tell our daughter she didn’t have to listen to me or if I told her to do something a certain way would tell her my way was wrong. His sister would always question why I was making her do something. Then his mom come in and tell her that I was keeping her from them. She has a phone and they have her number and vice-versa they have always been welcome to call and visit. I don’t speak bad about him and waiting for her to make her own opinion about him and his family. I pray everyday for the day she’s finally able to know the difference between the truth and lies.

Sometimes family is more trouble then good. My mom always had an issue with me growing up. And I just always thought it was the middle child problem. I’m not her first born so it’s not that special feeling of the first child being born. And I’m not her last child like omg that’s my lil baby. So she’s always treated me worst then my brothers. And I gave her the first grandchild and I would never take my daughter away from her. But my daughter is 8 now and is very smart and she told me just the other day. “Daddy I don’t wanna go to granny house anymore cause she always saying something bad about you and your the best dad in the world so idk why she do that.” And when she said that it truly broke my heart that you would talk crap about me to my 8 year old daughter. When I’ve been a great child. Never got in trouble, graduated high school and college, working and taking care of my child so it’s like what’s your issue with me. Sometimes it’s just like that

I’m the oldest - I make sure my siblings have 0 beef and I am extremely close with them all and we are way apart in age. Never in a million years do you act like this with your sibling. Your siblings are forever. I couldn’t imagine doing my siblings any harm and no matter what they do I forgive them. Life is too short to be at odds with your siblings. All that hatred in their hearts won’t yield fruit in their lives.

Family is more then Just a Word, its who you are and the things you do. The love should show through your actions My little sister is use to getting her way & whenever she does something wrong like stealing 💰 from our mom or aunt, its everyone elses fault & everyone else needs to "get over it". She even get arrested and used our other sisters ID and Never said anything even after the 👮 came to arrest our sister, then we saw the mugshot and realized it was our younger sister who did it. She told our sister that was 6 months ago, its old news she needed to Get Over It.. She clearly could care less & She doesn't have to provide for her kids since she moved all 4 kids in with our mom. So now she comes and goes as she pleases She doesn't even see her kids every day yet she tries to stop sleep overs we have once a month where all my nieces & nephews come stay, They absolutely love spending time with us & whenever she finally comes around to see them I heard her say to my nephew "don't tell her that they had a good time" She doesn't want to hear it. Who told them it was ok for them to go stay" etc. If she cant use you, she has no Loyalty to you Period! 🤦🏽♀️Its Ridiculous.. we just want them to enjoy being kids as long as possible
