Superb video again, you definitely don't let a bit of bad weather hold you back. I got my tent out again at the weekend, the wind wasn't just as bad as my previous attempt at pitching it but it went up really easily and i did copy some of your techniques 😉 many thanks.

Thank you very much. No no, I find all weather to be enjoyable and it can be rare to get the sun at times on Dartmoor. I'm glad to hear to hear that, after a couple more it will get easier and easier. I'm happy you were able to find this useful, enjoy your next camp. Rowan.

I guess I should be happy I'm here in Caldwell Idaho USA 😎🍺. Don't you just love that wind how irritating. Definitely a hi endurance set-up.

Hi there from across the pond, yes, the wind can sometimes be a bit of a challenge, but I am pretty used to it now, so if it is under 40mph I can sleep most of the night. Granted, sometimes no wind is lovely. The Nallo 2 is a nice tent, and can hold its own. Thanks. Rowan.

I love that big flat pile of rocks beside you tent, it will block the strong wind that coming to your side of the tent.

It is a really nice Tor to camp at.

If the weather don't change once you're in who wants to break down camp and go somewhere else other than home. 😮 If it wasn't for that wind it wouldn't be too bad,🔥

Certainly. Nothing you can do about the wether, just about the apppopriate precautions. Rowan.

What do you mean I can't I can camp anywhere. No matter what the weather. Only thing that would stop me is not having anywhere to stake my tent down. 🔥

I have a very similar logic, love to explore all that dartmoor has to offer, regardless of the weather. It is a special place. Sometimes there are rocks in the way, for that I take extra cord/guy line to be able to extend out from a pegging point to good ground. Rowan.

Stormy weather but a great camp. Very nice gear, very nice food and very nice movie. "A scratch? Your arm is off!" I dare you to go camping once near 'the most foul, cruel and bad-tempered rodent of Caerbannog'. 😉 Can I ask, what stove extender is that, on which you attached the Pocketrocket? Seems very handy to lower the pot height (and I've got the same stove). Happy hiking!

Thank you for the nice comment. I will go if I can take "the holy hand grenade of Antioch." Yes of course, it is the MSR LowDown. It is very useful, e.g. easier to change the gas, lower to ground so it is safer, performs better in the wind with a wind shield and is easier to adjust the gas in a tent as your not having to reach so far (can have the gas in the tent, and stover outside). Had my Pocket Rocket 2 for about 4 years, still running well. Thanks again, you too. Rowan.

It would be nice to have a tutorial while you were doing what you were doing setting up cooking whatever. I think people would like to get to know you just saying 🍺

Thanks for the feedback, I do think about talking, but I am trying to leave it as natural as possible so when I watch them back in the future it is purely the walking/camping experience. That's not to say however I will never do that. I'll see how it goes. Thanks. Rowan.
