Man, as soon as you hovered over that knot I was saying out loud, “Don’t do it Ceph; hold out for cursed quarter staff!” Normally I am the type of enjoyer of your videos that hates to point out mistakes, but I just have to hate on the knot 😅

I think knot would be more interesting if it prevented weapons from showing up in the shop. As it is, knot almost always "feels" bad to take and I think that is largely because the shop continues to show you what you are missing out on.

Prioritise harvesting and armour, don't buy gentle alien and mouse until you're comfortable with your current character

Imagine if instead Knot removed all weapons from the shop pool. It would probably need a smaller bonus, but would be so much better.

I always love the tags from quarter staff but am underwhelmed by its performance, especially on a level 11 or 12 elite. I should try again with a new mindset, I really want to like using it.

Cursed characters mod makes Mutant take 93% less xp. Pair that with quarter staff and you know how it goes.

Knot would be much better if maybe it either made weapons cost 50-100% more so you could replace / upgrade, it's just very expensive or it does what it does, but also adds a blue 'unknot' to the shop which reverses it at the cost of a blue item.

Quarterstaff is fun but it never feels very good for me. I like it's attack pattern but I think it needs a little help
