Another great video! The addition of the windmill adds a nice human element to that wonderful sky and landscape. Thank you again for what you do on KZbin and your generosity with your work. Would love to see you take on the Vermeer detail scene.

Stuart puts a building in one of his paintings! Should be front page news😅. What a wonderful landscape. Nature keeps cloud moving so why can't you, as a painter, keep changing and adding? Marvellous. I wonderful those who keep asking about acrylic (perhaps because of odour?) have considered water-based oils, I'm sure they would work with this technique? Thanking you, Stuart, for the entertainment and education. You have knees! 😂

Hi Stuart. You have got a lot more than just a few viewers who will always stay fixated from the beginning to the very end of all of your videos. The most captive of audiences. 😁 It was about time that we have finally got to see your knees. We now know (for certain) that you do have a lower half. Stay Healthy! 💖👍

Love, love this painting Stuwart. First I'm Dutch but live in the US., however,r I love that you put a building in your painting. It seems to give It more life. I would love to see more from or buildings, people, doing stuff outside in your beautiful landscape. Of course, your paintings r always stunning, but that little something ounce & while is nice. I too I'm a mature pinter & always have to put something else besides scenery. Learning how you do It is very helpful & enjoyable. Thank You. for sharing your craft. It really helps. Bonnie K. 😆🖌💕

Such a valuable and fun way to send an hour. It’s an absolute pleasure (and mesmerising) watching you paint. I love the way your cat appeared…and then faded away - like the Cheshire Cat! Your painting is quite beautiful. I often think of the wonderful Constable when I look at your work. I, for one, think it’s a great idea to do a Vermeer detail. Fantastic. Thank you Stuart! PS: You’re right to point out the wonderful benefits of modern technology.

Your magic touch always amazes me anew each time you address the canvas with the incredible vision you share. Yes, please, a little Vermeering would be a treat, please. You see things before the rest of us can imagine the possibility. I learn so much from watching and thinking about what you create. It makes me Try, in my own limited scope, to gin up some magic of some nature in my own scratches and scrawls, and I enjoy it all so much. Thank you.

I love the texture of your brush strokes. It's quite depressing here with such limited selection of brushes, paints and canvas, so we have to make it work with what we have available.

another very enjoyable video, thanks for taking the time to do it. I would def enjoy the Vermeer project. I loved the picture up to about 38 mins but I really don't think the orange/green path improves it. What do I know. Keep up the good work.

BINGO!!! I was once asking for the paper (Apta) that you use, by the little tiny print, here in the states, at least here in NYC, is the paper that you usually find in public bathrooms to dry your hands, is tough, it doesn’t tear easily and it doesn’t dissolve easily neither, also it has a bit of time lapse to absorb. Knowing this, I guess I can tranquil go to sleep.😊 Thank you Stuart!!!

That windmill fit into the landscape nicely. I like bigger canvases for some reason. Every so often volgov posts a painting video. Its a compilation of video clips throughout the painting. You can see the changes made, but not all shown..& it's fine. So a vermier like endeavor I'm sure would be great! I'm guessing there are still very old structures in South France just as rustic as vermiers images. In 50 years an image of a woman in today's dress will look bonnet like, & antique to the viewer I guess. More time consuming, such a piece, but..its Not for temporary commercial use! Back in the 70s, 80s, most business here in the u.s., was all by word of mouth! Deals were done with a handshake, even 6 figure deals, without contract. You were as good as your word. One bad word spread like wildfire, & you'd be ruined. I've witnessed it. People talk..still holds true today, except much faster.

Hello from Pakistan, hope you're doing good. I absolutely adore your style of painting.. I think painting should be only this way.. letting the brush become an extension of your arm and move freely.. I'd be grateful if you could paint the second highest mountain in the world, K2, situated in Pakistan (partially).. since I started painting (probably a couple of months ago) I am drawn intentionally and unintentionally into painting sky and mountains.. I am terrible with trees and foliage but I hope after watching and copying your approach, I will be able to achieve fast results in improving my painting. Lastly, pls share if you have some info about why some people or artists I should say, are more attracted to painting certain things, like I am obsessed with sky clouds and mountains.. Many thanks and happy painting. Annie
