Stuart, thank you so much for sharing this lovely tutorial, especially so soon after the flu. I hope you didn’t overdo it, to bring this to us. 🙏🏼 for your continued recovery & strength. I learn so much from you, & appreciate that you continually walk us through your process. Love that you use highly technical terms like “poker uppers” or “don’t be too uppy & downy” because they stick with me. Also, thanks for sneaking in the dad jokes…tube of clouds & fan brush…they just tickle me😂❤

Stuart thank you for another beautiful painting. It’s always nice to meander through your paintings as if we are walking through the fields gazing up into the sky. Delightful and extremely calming.

This made me laugh. I will never look at forests the same way again. . A face as old as time emerging from a tree from a time gone by. Well done Stuart, though you would forgive me for not wanting to wake up during the night to see this tree gtimmacing at me! 🤣😂

Another beautiful painting, Stuart! I started watching the last video, but was a good part of the way through when things started interfering, and haven't had a chance to get back to it. Will start watching again today, because I was finding it fun and interesting. A change is as good as a rest, for you and your students! Frankly, it was reminding me of some of the stories I read as a kid, and thoroughly enjoyed. Giants, elves, gnomes, faeries, pixies and so on. You don't seem to be able to get those, anymore, which I think is sad. They were great for the imagination. I'm sorry it hasn't garnered many views. People seem to have lost their sense of humour.

I admire your painting, but I really do wish you would speak less, so that we can enjoy the process. Just speak of what colors you are using and your technique. You do not need to fill the airwaves.

Everyone’s entitled to their opinion but you should be aware that yours is that of a small minority. A quick read through comments on previous videos will confirm this. Stuart’s commentary is great. Use the mute button.

Thank you for this. I am delighted to see you painting today. Fortunately, the flu did not impact your voice. Please stay healthy.

Your voice, paintings, and videos are the "balm of hurt minds". But I am sorry to hear you've had a bout of the flu - there are a lot of nasty respiratory viruses about this year. Also a bit puzzled that your tree man wasn't as popular - I loved it and have a panel put aside to start my own version once the current painting is (finally) done. Best wishes and many thanks!

Lovely. I only heard recently there is a difference between palette knives and painting knives, is this true in practice?

Big lesson at 15:00 (around of that time); "Love your comments". Especialy if they appear to be negative. I like that advise. Too often I am offended by what could have been good lessons. Not in humillity, but as like people do have different views then others have. This is apart from the very nice paintings we see appear her in this video. After which Stuart definitely paints them over, just to re-appear later, but different! Love it!
