The song “Auld Lang Syne” played during the video is a remake of a traditional Scottish song that is played at every single school disco, birthday & wedding. Everyone crosses over their hands & joins up in a circle, then at the end, the circle all run in & out & try to keep hands joined! It’s so fun. Such a nice thing to hear in your videos as it’s a huge part of Scottish culture. You could search up the traditional Scottish version of the song & any videos if you’re interested. Attention everyone ! Introducing Svalbards newest business venture: The Cozey Cabin Experience. Your experience will begin with a nice 2 hour hike in minus 70 degrees with blowing snow and wind speeds up to 70 miles per hour. You will be expertly guided by Cecilia, the pistol packing Mama and her trusty bazooka, that she uses to shoot confetti to scare the pants off of , yes , you know it, sassy pant polar bears AND those occasional grumpy reindeer, who are still bitter about having their business idea shot down. I'm with them, I really don't think having a reindeer delivery system would be that hazardous. I mean all those concerns about droppings, flight path disruptions..... could have been ironed out. Heaven knows we could use them in the USA! What with the US mail going bankrupt and the delivery companies somehow loosing things once they're on the truck..... BUT I digress! On this epic hike you will also be accompanied by the most Gorgeous Norwegian Elkhound....wait is he an Elkhound? Are there elk in Norway? Anyway GRIM!!! Need I go on!! Grim is certain your there to take him on these hikes, feed him treats and give him massages and of course you are!After your hike you will be treated with a delicious meal prepared by the expert Chef Christopher! He will not only be serving up some delicious morsels and yummy coffee, but he will speak to you ! Yes that's right! Christopher, we hear from Cecelia, can and does speak more than a short sentence at a time! If your lucky you will see him in his iconic burnt orange colored hat and shirts. Those that bring out the sparkle in his eyes and give him just a bit of sass. I don't know for sure but I'm thinking Christopher smells like gingerbread or some other warm yummy baked goods. We will have to ask Cecilia to weigh in on that for us. After your epic hike into the polar night under the glittering stars and Aurora borialis and epic dinner you now get to settle in to all the coziness of the cabin with good conversation and a possible video game. At bedtime you'll be tucked into a cozy bed in a beautiful cozy little room. Okay not literally tucked in because that would be creepy. In the morning , no matter what time that is, anytime before noon, you will enjoy some lovely coffees , more snuggles with Grim amd more wonderful conversations before you are strapped to the back of a reindeer , because Cecilia and Christopher are rebels and see the value in this, and carried away into the polar night to do a fly over Santa's place , because the reindeer are still a bit grumpy about not getting Santa's backing, so want to just give the idea of how this will look and then in a blink of an eye you are back to your own home where the reindeer hit the eject button with their tongue, once the button thaws and off you slide . You will agree along with Cecilia, Christopher and Grim, that being dumped by a Reindeer is a teeny teeny tiny price to pay for spending an evening with them and having a Cozy Cabin Adventure. Such a cozy life!! We just got our grocery order so i'm eating pasta, soup and raspberries on a lunch break. My cat Merri is enjoying all the bags from th egrocery store LOL. Watching a bit of videos on a pause in my workday and cooking a maple syrup ham 🍁❤️❄️ Yes, here too, if we stopped every time the weather was harsh... we would never do anything LOL Alway swindy here and about -17C windchill
