A trick I learned from Martha Stewart-When cleaning windows, Wipe back and forth on one side and up and down on the other side. Then if you see a streak or smudge you know if it's on the inside or outside of the window. I am really enjoying your channel! I will be 64 this March, but like one of your other commenters, you inspire me to enjoy the daily chores.

I absolutely loved this video! My daughter has had a hard time this winter with just the gloomy, cold days and not getting out as much. On the way to school drop-off one day this week, as I was praying over her, I remembered that this season is needed. God made it just like the other three. It's a time of rest for vegetation, and maybe we should all slow down and intentionally rest, too. What another beautiful reminder from you today! ❤

My dad read books to my four brothers and me while we were growing up. I have the old sets he read from, from A.A. Milne, to Lewis Carroll to Mark Twain. The collection of old fables, fairy tales, classics, you name it, hold such sweet memories. We lost dad at 95 two years ago...I'm 77! Your children will hold the reading times in their minds forever. And I learned to love books because of my dad.

Dan amazes me also. It is so nice for both of you that he can do this remodeling or added decor pieces. Hilary, sorry your little boy broke your thrifted cup. I had the same experience many years ago. My Mama at appx. 59 years old bought me a girl & boy Delph (sp) set. I loved it and cherished it. Mama passed away from a massive heart attack 4 years later. I have wished 100 times that I had glued the doll back even if you could see some of the cracks. If you can use the cup as decor and it means something to you glue it back.

My kitchen looks like yours right now only large chunks of it are missing LoL I've wanted to renovate my kitchen ever since we moved in 18 yrs ago and now is the time! I'm so excited and thankful but I'm getting very tired of the mess... flooring stacked in the living room, ingredients and kitchen tools scattered all around the house ( including some in the garage) I dont want to complain about something I've wanted for almost two decades but it does get to be a challenge. We also are throwing a Superbowl party on Sunday -- hopefully the guests don't mind navigating through the mess LoL 🤣

Hiya! When it comes to cleaning windows I find that you can use almost anything but the key is in polishing the glass after you clean it. I just use a clean soft cloth and rub away any spots or streaks that are left behind after cleaning. They always come out streak free, clean and sparkling. :)

My mum used to make marshmallow slice - bake a plain cake mixture in a baking tray, once cool spread strawberry or raspberry jam. Pour over the marshmallow mixture and chill in the fridge.
