A Wise and Discerning Heart - Bishop Barron's Sunday Sermon

Friends, our first reading is from the First Book of Kings, and it's one of my favorite passages in the entire Old Testament. If you're going on a retreat, spending a Holy Hour, or just wanting to get in touch with the Lord at the end of the day, it's a wonderful little passage to focus on. The setting is the early days of the reign of King Solomon, and the question it raises is this: If you could ask God for anything, what would you ask for?

Love, compassion, and prayers are all we truly need. I have faith God is bringing me out of my situation. As a single mom, things have been tough on me. My husband passed years ago. I’m all alone. Both of my sons are autistic. I’m overwhelmed. Father God hear my prayers. Since covid I’ve been struggling to support my children and myself but my faith in GOD is still strong! I lost my job for declining the vaccine. I’ve been struggling since. I declined because of my health conditions lupus, and heart disease. Since losing my job I’ve been waitressing I love it but I’m not making nearly enough to to get by. Even as I constantly struggle to pay my rent. And I constantly struggle to provide groceries for my children! I’m choosing to keep faith. Walking with faith is the most important thing us christian’s must do. THE GOSPEL OF THE WORD OF ALMIGHTY GOD "the last age in which God saves man from the destruction of this old world" (God incarnated on earth first of all conquered this group of people on earth who follow Him even in judgment and punishment. The testimony that you have been overcome referes first of all to your knowledge about the incarnation of God. Then, this stage of testimony is about Satan and all the enemies of God--the demons and adverses who do not believe that God will be incarnated at the second chance and come to do greater work, and besides that, doesn't believe in the thruth of God's return to human body. In simple words, it is about all Antichrists---all enemies who do not believe in the incarnation of God. Thinking and longing for God does not prove the God has overcome you, that defends on if you believe He is the word incarnate, if you believe that Spirit become the word, and the word appears in the flesh--person. This is the most important testimony. You are able to understand the true meaning of words: "In the beginning He was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God!" In addition, you need to understand that the word in now is God, and see that the word become man.) Almighty God said GOD INCARNATED on EARTH first of all CONQUERED this GROUP of PEOPLE on EARTH who FOLLOW Him EVEN in JUDGMENT and PUNISHMENT. WHETHER or NOT you HAVE the ABILITY to TESTIFY that YOU have been OVERCOMED DEPENDS not ONLY on IF you FOLLOW UNTIL the LAST, but, more IMPORTANTLY, IF you CAN, as YOU EXPERIENCE each STEP of GOD'S works, and IF every STEP is TRUE of the WORK you are EXPERIENCING, and you NEED to OBTAIN KNOWLEDGE, and OBEY GOD'S DISPOSITION. THAT'S the WORK of the LAST AGE. ☀️ YOU NEED to UNDERSTAND these THINGS, BUT WHAT YOU UNDERSTAND is the FLESH and the TRUTH of GOD IS with GOD, and the SPIRIT of GOD is in that FLESH. That is to SAY, the FLESH of GOD INCARNATED--PERSON. 🙏☀️ 📨("The WORD Appears in the Flesh" Holy book. ... Fulfilled the prophecy in, John 1:1 "In the beginning He was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God")📨 From "The Word Appears in the Flesh". holy book Fulfilled in "In the beginning He was the Word, the Word was with God, and the Word was God" (John 1:1). ... and "When I looked up, someone handed me a book wrapped in a scroll. I opened it and I read on both sides the prayers, lamentations, and curses." (Ezekiel 2:9-10). ... "His garment was stained with blood. He was called the "Word of God" (Rev. 19:13). The kingdom He brought down and set up in the highest in the sky so that it can occupy His creation in the universe and engrave on it the entirety of His Holy name "THE CHURCH OF ALMIGHTY GOD" 💐 fulfillment of (Mat. 16:18) "And I say as for you, you are Peter, on top of this rock I will build my Church, that even the power of death will not be able to overcome it.". ... and "The Letter to the Church in Philadelphia" (Rev. 3:7-13). ... And fulfillment of "The New Jerusalem" 💫 (Rev. 21:10) "The Spirit enveloped me, and the angel led me to the top of a very high mountain. He showed Me Jerusalem, the Holy City, which coming down from heaven from God." (1 Peter 4:17) "For the time has come in the house of God for the beginning of judgment in the house of God." 📩 Calling and leading the sheep of God to His glorious Throne "THE CHURCH OF ALMIGHTY GOD"💐 to submit again to His authority so that He will continue to teach, guide and protect even in plague, famine and wild animals will not be moved by it and completely win this final battle with the big red dragon! "They say with a loud voice, "Salvation comes from the Lamb, and from our God who sits on the Throne!" (Rev. 7:10). ... "But you are a chosen race, a company of royal priests, a a nation dedicated to God, a people belonging to God to declare the wonderful things he has done. He is the one who calls you out of darkness into wonderful light." (1 Peter 2:9). ... and fulfillment that it will be built above the sky/KZbin in (Isaiah 2:2) "In the Last Day, the mountain on which Jehovah's temple stands will stand out above all the mountains. All nations will flock there. " 💌💫

Sometimes we live, and keep living by ourselves. We are wandering with no north, we are roaming to the middle of no where. And we simply are looking for the goods of the world. As a robot we wake up and live the whole day as walking deads. That’s so hard to hear, but it’s the pure truth: we do not see the signs of God, we believe that our arms are the right fountain of power. Sudenly we hear a sermon like this as thunder falling over us, and by the strenth of the Holy Spirit we find the meaning in our lives. It is like new eyes: everything changes. And then we cry out loud: oh Jesus, have mercy on me. That’s faith, faith as a gift, faith is an encounter with God, it’s a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. That’s the Truth. This sermon is a good reminder about the touch of Midas and depression in the world that exists. Many of my inner circle of friends talk about this, even though life is relatively easy for them nowadays they haven't felt better mentally, and they have very skewed views on the world. Many of them are jaded and don't really think the same way we all did when we were young and had hope and were way happier. Even with all of the worlds greatest goods life can be hollow without Gods view and thoughts flowing through you and direction to guide you through the hard time. The kingdom of heaven is worth way more than any worldly wealth or pleasure. Everyone looks for pleasure in the wrong places and this was such a good reminder to stop chasing worldly things and to chase God instead, a lot of people forget this and always fall into vices or habits or sins that they just rinse and repeat but they really need to drop those and just come clean with God. Life is much more mentally stable when you're thinking with God's mind and letting him use you as his vessel to spread good in this world. Thanks again for the wonderful sermon!

He asked for what I ask everyday Bishop Baron. Every day when I say the St Francis prayer... I ask the Lord to be an instrument of his peace. I'm 61. A musician since 1973. Guitar. Rock. Guitar and bands and getting high was my life. I turned away from the church. Jimi Hendrix SRV. Ozzy Osbourne. I did all that' crud. I thought I had it all. I had nothing. THE GOSPEL OF THE WORD OF ALMIGHTY GOD "the last age in which God saves man from the destruction of this old world" (God incarnated on earth first of all conquered this group of people on earth who follow Him even in judgment and punishment. The testimony that you have been overcome referes first of all to your knowledge about the incarnation of God. Then, this stage of testimony is about Satan and all the enemies of God--the demons and adverses who do not believe that God will be incarnated at the second chance and come to do greater work, and besides that, doesn't believe in the thruth of God's return to human body. In simple words, it is about all Antichrists---all enemies who do not believe in the incarnation of God. Thinking and longing for God does not prove the God has overcome you, that defends on if you believe He is the word incarnate, if you believe that Spirit become the word, and the word appears in the flesh--person. This is the most important testimony. You are able to understand the true meaning of words: "In the beginning He was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God!" In addition, you need to understand that the word in now is God, and see that the word become man.) Almighty God said GOD INCARNATED on EARTH first of all CONQUERED this GROUP of PEOPLE on EARTH who FOLLOW Him EVEN in JUDGMENT and PUNISHMENT. WHETHER or NOT you HAVE the ABILITY to TESTIFY that YOU have been OVERCOMED DEPENDS not ONLY on IF you FOLLOW UNTIL the LAST, but, more IMPORTANTLY, IF you CAN, as YOU EXPERIENCE each STEP of GOD'S works, and IF every STEP is TRUE of the WORK you are EXPERIENCING, and you NEED to OBTAIN KNOWLEDGE, and OBEY GOD'S DISPOSITION. This is the FINAL TESTIMONY that you have been OVERCOME, being SHARED with YOU. ☀️🙏 The TESTIMONY that YOU HAVE BEEN OVERCOME REFERES FIRST of ALL to your KNOWLEDGE about the INCARNATION of GOD. 🙏 This SIGNIFICANT STEP of TESTIMONY is to the INCARNATION of GOD. ☀️ It does not matter what you do or say before the people of the world or those in power; the MOST IMPORTANT thing of ALL is IF you are ABLE to OBEY all the WORDS from the MOUTH of GOD and ALL His WORKS. THEN, THIS STAGE OF TESTIMONY IS ABOUT SATAN and ALL THE ENEMIES OF GOD---the DEMONS and ADVERSES who do NOT BELIEVE that GOD will be INCARNATED at a SECOND chance and COME to do GREATER WORK, and BESIDES that, DOESN'T BELIEVE in the TRUTH of GOD'S RETURN to HUMAN BODY. In SIMPLE WORDS, it is ABOUT ALL ANTICHRISTS---all ENEMIES who do NOT BELIEVE in the INCARNATION of GOD. ☀️🙏 THINKING and LONGING for GOD DOES NOT PROVE that GOD has OVERCOME YOU, that DEPENDS on IF you BELIEVE He is the WORD INCARNATE, IF YOU BELIEVE that the SPIRIT BECAME the WORD, and the WORD APPEARS IN THE FLESH- PERSON. 🙏 This is the most important testimony. ☀️🙏 It matters not how you obey, nor how you spend yourself; the MOST IMPORTANT thing is if you CAN DISCOVER from THIS NORMAL BEING that the WORD was MADE FLESH and the SPIRIT of TRUTH was REAL in the FLESH---that ALL the TRUTH, the WAY, and the LIFE, has COME to FLESH, and the SPIRIT of GOD has ACTUALLY COME to EARTH and the SPIRIT has COME to FLESH. ☀️ ALTHOUGH it APPEARS to be DIFFERENT from CONCEPTION through the HOLY SPIRIT, in this WORK you are ABLE to SEE CLEARLY that the SPIRIT has been FULFILLED in the FLESH, and in ADDITION, the WORD is MADE FLESH that and the WORD has APPEARED in the FLESH. 🙏 You are ABLE to UNDERSTAND the TRUE MEANING of the WORDS: "In the beginning He was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God!" In ADDITION, YOU NEED to UNDERSTAND that the WORD in NOW is GOD, and SEE that the WORD became MAN. 💐🙏 This is the BEST TESTIMONY YOU CAN SHARE. This PROVES that YOU HAVE TRUE KNOWLEDGE of GOD WHO BECAME MAN---NOT ONLY ARE YOU ABLE to KNOW HIM, BUT YOU ARE ALSO AWARE that the PATH YOU ARE TRAVELING TODAY is the PATH of LIFE, and the PATH of TRUTH. 🙏 The STAGE of WORK JESUS ​​PERFORMED just FULFILLED the SPIRIT of "the Word is with God". ☀️ The TRUTH of GOD is with GOD, and the SPIRIT of GOD is in the FLESH and CANNOT be SEPARATED from that FLESH. 🙏 THAT is to SAY, the Flesh of GOD INCARNATE is with the SPIRIT of GOD, which is GREATER with GOD, and the Word is God," and ALLOWS you to STRONGLY BELIEVE the WORDS "In the beginning he was the Word." ☀️🙏 Which means, at the TIME of CREATION, GOD has WORDS, His WORDS are with Him and CANNOT be SEPARATED FROM Him, and in the LAST AGE, He clarifies even more the POWER and AUTHORITY of His WORDS, and ALLOWS the MAN to SEE ALL His WAYS---to HEAR ALL His WORDS. THAT'S the WORK of the LAST AGE. ☀️ YOU NEED to UNDERSTAND these THINGS, BUT WHAT YOU UNDERSTAND is the FLESH and the TRUTH of GOD IS with GOD, and the SPIRIT of GOD is in that FLESH.
