For all who watch this video, please offer one Hail Mary for my mother. She was recently diagnosed with lung cander (although we still don't know the stage). I lost my father in 2020 in a very untimely death and I'm not ready to lose my mother right now. I firmly believe Jesus would give us a miracle. So, my dear brothers and sisters, I humbly ask you to offer one Hail Mary on my mother's behalf. Her name is Ann. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and prayers. May God bless you all!

I pray that you will be drawn to Jesus Christ. This is deeper than any religion. It's always good to research what you maybe jumping into. I was raised in religion as I got older I was introduced to relationship with Christ Jesus. If you don't have a bible pls buy one and start to read. Every thing written from beginning to the end is about Christ Jesus There is only one Father and that is God the Father. We only pray to Him In the name of Jesus Christ we don't go through Mary or saints or need beads or do rituals. You just need salvation to call upon the name of the LORD REPENT of all your sins and NEVER be told that sins are not an issue as this is what separates us from a Holy God. We need to ask for forgiveness and truly turn away and turn to God and the blood of Jesus that flowed from his pierced side is what cleanses us from all unrighteousness. God calls us to adoption to be His children, not catholic, baptist, Methodist ect there is no mention of this in the bible.

@Laceydeancoaching Jesus Christ began the Catholic Church. He is calling all of us to Him through His church and His sacraments ❤ John 6:32 So Jesus said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you, it was not Moses who gave the bread from heaven; my Father gives you the true bread from heaven.o 33 For the bread of God is that which comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” 34 p So they said to him, “Sir, give us this bread always.” 35 * Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst. 47 Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life. 48 I am the bread of life. 49 Your ancestors ate the manna in the desert, but they died;z 50 this is the bread that comes down from heaven so that one may eat it and not die. 51 I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world.”a 52 The Jews quarreled among themselves, saying, “How can this man give us [his] flesh to eat?” 53 Jesus said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life within you. 54 Whoever eats* my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day. 55 For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. 56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him. 57 Just as the living Father sent me and I have life because of the Father, so also the one who feeds on me will have life because of me.b 58 This is the bread that came down from heaven. Unlike your ancestors who ate and still died, whoever eats this bread will live forever.” 59 These things he said while teaching in the synagogue in Capernaum.

WTF? That's a moronic statement. I'm sure that you are a good person and desire to grow in wisdom and even basic knowledge. I'd suggest that you broaden your understanding of the world by reading some of our classic literature in a thoughtful manner and contemplate what you have read. Foolish statements such as this will cease once you've learned to reflect upon what you truly intend to say. This ridiculous statement would suggest that, (now take your time and reflect upon this) only an active THERAPIST could understand and provide appropriate psychological support and advice to a violent sexual predator. Are you able to grasp the the idiocy implied by such an ignorant and thoughtless statement, which I'm sure was simply the result of an impulsive and perhaps impaired state of mind...May God bless you my friend and good luck on your path to intellectual development and on increasing your base of knowledge. With this your ability to exercise logic and reasoning before blurting out the first thing that pops up in your head which instantly creates a very negative impression of your intellect. This must be embarrassing to you as I'm certain that you are not a stupid woman.

Father Mike, Bishop Baron, Father Casey, Father Groeschel and Bishop Sheen... the 5 greatest contemporary clergymen I have learned from along side of some parish priests I grew up with. I learned a lot from these guys. I went to see Father Groeschel who had visited a church near by and he had a rosary that was given to him by Mother Theresa. He let me hold it for a moment and some years later what i had asked for happened. I didn't realize it at first but when it happened i remembered what i had asked. I do believe an intervention took place. I'm still demanding, impatient and selfish but i learned more about everything in its own time.

You are not Catholic but this is God calling you home. The Catholic faith is a beautiful way to live one’s life honoring Him through the love and adoration of His only begotten son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Were I not raised within the Catholic faith and it being the internal structure and formation of my moral hierarchy and consciousness I would have absolutely blown my brains out in the despair of domestic violence abuse and addiction. I would probably not have even made it that far in life. Actually, I know I wouldn’t have. Bc I’ve barely made it as it is. But it’s ONLY bc of the Catholic faith and the beautiful unending depth of it’s treasures and knowledge. Fr. Mike is speaking to you from a strictly Catholic perspective. From within the bounds of the structured faith. It’s not just his talks and videos you are resonating with but also and most importantly CATHOLICISM. It’s so amazing too. I hope to see you at mass one day! ❤

For the past 3 years I have been on the journey seeking God, born in a catholic family, but I had a void in me since mass has never been long enough to off load my grief, so I decided to join the bornagain Christians where I got to have time with God in prayer, but since there many born again churches with false leaders, so for the past few weeks was praying to God and he led me to a preacher (Billy Graham) his sermon in the 1959 not sure though, he said there's no perfect church cause if you found it and joined it, you yourself would make it imperfect. I immediately missed my Catholic church I had left for its imperfection. Attended mass last Sunday after 5years I felt like a prodigal child cause I really felt home, today was fasting, wanted to listen to a sermon and I landed here I wish I knew Fr.Mike earlier I wouldn't have wondered away from my church. I can now fully say am a proud Catholic since what I went looking for was right there in my church. God bless you for taking time to read through and listen

All churches, all people, are imperfect vessels. The Catholic Church is the only one that traces its roots back to when Jesus founded His church. Satan infiltrates everything, esp something holy. I have my own St. Paul-like conversion to the Catholic Church. It was what it took to make me know I’d never leave.

Your story sounds very familiar to mine. In my case, I tried other protestant denominations, buddhism, and hinduism. I could not find any church or religion that so deeply strived to worship Jesus, while honoring our relationship with Mother Mary, the saints, and the many rich traditions of Christianity (and even many Old testament Jewish traditions). In my mid 30s I am finally starting to explore the tip of the iceberg of the beautiful riches of Christ's Holy Catholic Apostolic Church. It often saddens me that our protestant brothers and sisters have lost so much since the reformation. I relate a lot more deeply with Orthodox Christians, as their Church is the closest to Catholicism that there is. It would be so good to witness the many churches re-uniting as the One Holy Catholic Apostolic Church.

I'll be your friend on Facebook. Truly, you probably don't live near me so don't think i could be a present friend in person? My mom died of colon & ovarian cancer at 42 years in 1969. (It went through her whole body.) I was just 14 years & right out of 8th grade at a Catholic grade school. And i was her friend till the end. Changed her colostomy bag in the night (for my grandma who was very tired & had severe spinal arthritis too), put cool wash cloths on her head in her pain, made her coffee with lots of sugar & cream, read magazines with her, talked with her, laughed with her, cried with her, and prayed with her. She was poor. There was no hospice back then. No place people shipped people off to. Your family & true friends really cared for you & loved you. Her pills no longer helped her pain. She had to go back to the hospital on July 20, 1969, the day the first men walked on the moon, but more importantly her very last birthday. She died July 24, 1969 in a ward of 7 people, in the hospital because she needed shots. And because she was on Medicaid. She had no way to be in a private or semi private room. Took care of her at night every night; but the hospital said i wasn't "old enough yet which was 16 years, by law" to be with her there while she died. She died July 24, 1969, just 4 days later calling out our names, weak, & crying, sad She couldn't hold my hand, her only daughter.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻✝️❣️

I was fifteen years old and going through a great trial. I asked the Lord: Why, Lord, why me? Why is this happening to me?" I heard Him answer, I cant explain how, but I heard: "Why not you? Look what I did to my Son, because I love you." I have never asked God that again. But it taught my young mind a lot about Gods love, and suffering. That was sixty-nine years ago. A lesson well learned!

recently my mom was suffering in the hospital and l searched for bible and suffering and I read that suffering drops out sins and it seems to have to do with jesus compassion for our suffering and we join in his suffering to drop our sins and he drops ours. A believer can find a solace in their suffering knowing they have dropped their sins so no matter what gods will is, jesus is helping us again because he wants us in the kingdom. tyj tyj

Thank you Fr. Mike for this beautiful message! It is a message I have lived. Lately satan has tried to take away this truth of God by bombarding me with thoughts of despair. Instead of continuing to look at the face of Jesus when nailed to the cross, I could only see my brokenness, my uselessness. Get ready God, in my mind I am running to you into your loving arms!!!

Today I just attended the funeral of my former college Rector, a fransciscan friar called Fr John Boyd Boland. He was suffering from a fairly aggressive form of cancer the past few years. The dignified way way he carried himself despite his suffering was a great model and example for everyone to see. He continued to be present at the college and was an inspiration for the students until he could no longer carry himself at all. Was a real mirror of the way Pope St JP2 in the last years of his life. It was incredible to see how much this model of service through sufferring impacted the school, the parish and the archdiocese, even the Archbishop and aux Bishop attended. May the perpetual light shine upon him, may his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in Peace. Also, I watched Fr Stu the other night with the missus as well.

We must be not only willing, but desperately gaging to behold the gaze of Our Lord and Saviours and truly try to grasp the level of his love and his sacrifice for us. Because when I tried to see that, that's when I truly could surrender and needed to learn how to love him. By far the most beautiful sermon I've heard in my life. ❤ May we find the courage to let him hold us in our brokenness and behold him back. ❤❤❤
