Hello Hearth! I wanted you to know I appreciate your content and presence. I'm going to ask you for some advice, but please don't feel pressured or obligated to answer. Well, here goes! I have been casually studying witchcraft for about a year as the topic has consistently recurred in my life and honestly I found it interesting. However, I am hesitant to do any workings because I don't want anything negative to be attracted to my energy. (And I be unable to do anything about it) So, here's the problem. I'm going to be moving relatively soon and I want to cleanse the new space but I'm concerned that an attempt might for lack of better words, poke the bear but not drive it away. (if there were anything malicious/negative) So, any advice about that specific situation or generally how to move forward with my craft? Feel free to ask questions or for more detail.

@@ruthgarcia2954 hiya- I know I am not Hearth but if you'd like, I'll offer my two cents. I think that if witchcraft calls to you, you should go for it. Please don't worry, there is no cosmic force waiting to pounce on you the second you start. I was intimidated when I first started. But as you get more comfortable, it will not seem so uncertain. Learning how to do magical workings is a great way to build your confidence. Now as for cleansing a new space, it is important to also claim your space. If you want to clean out a place energetically, and you are worried about an unfriendly entity sticking around and getting cross with you, the key is confidence. A half-hearted cleansing is a poor one. When you clear the energy of a place, you must then replace the empty space with something, or whatever you got rid of may just mosey right back in. Be polite, but firm in your conviction that this is Your Space, and You decide what kind of energy is allowed in. I suggest looking into home protection work. Look into warding and shielding, new home cleansings amd blessings, that sort of thing. Of course this is only one perspective. But hopefully it gave you something to think about :)

Also wanted to let you know that the chronicle hat or also known as The witches hat actually has a purpose. It is used in a ceremony called The cone of power. Now you don't necessarily need a witch's hat to perform the cone of power, but it helps you visualize and concentrate on that cone of power coming down from the heavens/universe and then up from the Earth and both heaven and Earth meet in the middle of yo, such as the saying goes as above So below and as below so above. Keep on doing what you do. And always keep leaning. Sending Much Love! Blessed Be Sister Witch PS I am learning from you!

I'll be honest here; I came into this video already angry from the intro. I was both angry, and had a growing feeling of superiority, the "Hah! She's not a REAL witch, she's a poseur, an Instagram faker!". That was intensely unfair, cruel, and wrong of me. It is clear that this being is sincere in her work, and her practices work for her. Sure, some of it looks... odd, but it's /her/ practice, and it very clearly makes her very happy. It is very clearly her being true to her inner self. She seems 'childish' to some of our eyes, but all she's doing is giving in to that child-self inside of her that looks at the world through open, wondering eyes. That's child-like, not childish. I felt it when she spoke of walking around asleep for so long. I walked through nightmares when I was a child, trying not to see, trying to suppress what I felt, because according to my parents' religion it was wrong and evil. Emotional/physical response to magical work is common, and it is (usually) a very good release, or tool to help work deeper.

It's quite a niche area as not everyone considers having a witch as their coach and she doesn't hide that that's where she's coming from. I think her subscriber rates would be through the roof if she was more mainstream. She's done an awful lot of shadow work and it's paid off.

I don't have any real issue with Sky or Mia, but I would like to point out that manifesting is deeply situational. Mia has a business, so manifesting for her is selling magical guidance to other people. Again, this is totally fine, but looking at only successful people as proof of manifesting is flawed. For every young, beautiful, white witch with a successful platform, there are many other witches who don't fit into those categories that will have a harder time manifesting success similar to Mia's. It's like how our society tends to only look at olympic gold medalists and say, "Wow, they wanted it so bad they tried their hardest, and they succeeded!" As if there aren't legions of other dedicated athletes also trying their best. Hopefully I'm getting my point across without sounding salty. On another note, honestly I'd love to spend a day at Mia's house, it looks awesome.
@MrsDaedalus_3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for pointing that out! I'm a witch as well, who has a business, but I'm Chinese and from my observations of some business groups on Facebook with a spiritual twist mostly white women that fits into these categories in our community do exceptionally well. It is harder for other witches of colour, who fit or fits not in these categories to do as well as them. A lot of the people, who would invest into their services will be people who has the privilege to do that. I mean good for them, but I don't know...it has taken the community over. And from knowing where I came from, I would never in my life charge an insane amount for money for my services not without having options for people who can't invest in themselves up to 25k due to personal issues or are students who need to pay off student loan.

Thank you for putting this into words. I couldn't help but feel sceptical, while on the same time feeling like she was genuine in what she said. So I was really confused. But your words cleared things up. She can be genuine, while at the same time not being representative of a wide variety of people. She is herself and that is enough, she doesn't need to represent some sense of normalcy / average :)

i have a lot of conflit with ppl beliefs in regards of this topic. It is wrong to think that ppl that are opressed by our system dont get what they disire because 'they dont want it enough' and i also do not feel as this truth spiritualy. I reject reincarnation as an explanation as well, i just think it is cruel to nurturish this biliefs. Recently i am thinking that, as Heart said, magick takes a lot of time and effort, and also requires having acess to knowloge. For exemple, most of my readings are in english, and most brazilians dont have the posibilities i have because of the language barrier. I could overcome them, but not for deserving/wanting/fighting for it. Yes, i belive in manifestation by disire and intention alone, but we live in a society that dont allow a bunch of ppl to belive they can do it. It is cruel and inhumany to say some random superficial Coach discouse to explain poverty or inequality, as if anyone could overcome their financial, mental and psycological blockege like that, without any type of training or any knowloge or a reason to belief in it. The individual mind can shape reality, but reality can also shape our mind and make magick veryyy hard to manifest.

I watched that video also and I was a bit puzzled. If I could give an advice to people learning witchcraft is to not to be fooled by beautiful aesthetics, some of the most powerful witches out there do not want to look like one, because having the identity concealed actually helps having control over the astral forms we project. Just my two cents. Having said that, I think the witch in the video does have some good explanations and I believe she must have manifested a number of things with her magic, the only thing that confuses me is the need to show off the witchiness like that, this would totally ruin my practice but that's just me. The aimlessness is the worst. I was i this state and for me it wasn't as bad when I was a child, maybe because of school etc. as good milestones and fewer expectations. Now I'm studying and it got so much worse, I wondered if it was worth standing up in the morning. I personally came to realize that I am a Lesbian and that I was (subconsciously) always imagining my future with some man and deeply unhappy. So yeah, now I'm imagining my future with a woman and I finally feel like I want to arrive there (in my future) eventually :) I wish you the best of luck to find your truth as well and that you can begin with a daydream of a future that you'd want. Maybe there is something you never questioned about yourself, because "it's normal to..." or "everyone feels...". I thought, because those are peoples dreams and values, those should be my dreams and values. And having these expectations for myself was killing me, because I knew deep down that if I pursue these "dreams" I'd be unhappy. So I didn't want to pursue them, I tried to but it made me feel horrible. I never had a sense of getting closer to "my" goal or to achieve anything from the beginning. And in the end, when it got worse, I felt like there was no goal / no happiness for me, so I should just stop reaching. Because however I reach, it's painful and it's not worth the pain. But that's obvious now. It's painful to run into a wall and never reach a goal, not even perceive it, because it's actually opposite to where I'm facing. I was afraid and confused. But I am not anymore. Even without taking the first step, my confusion and fear is gone, because now I'm facing the possibility to dream (my real own dream). I don't even know jet how it'll look exactly and what I want beside a very general idea. Still I know THAT I want things, that I can want things. And I hope you find that too. I believe in you, and it's worth it. The security of pre-dreamed dreams is nothing compared to the security of knowing that what "you" "want" is what YOU really WANT.

Hearth thank you for mentioning that people shouldn't blame themselves for the bad things that are done to them. Sometimes in Law of Attraction communities and similar there is this idea that we create the good and the bad (the last one to become a lesson). Recently I had that train of thought about how I created my own separation and even blamed myself for it and many other non-related issues that have left scars in my mind. I was feeling guilty until I realized that those events could or could not be all my fault but I need to heal instead of feeling responsible for everything and then becoming miserable.

the sex magic manifestation exercise looks like some Kundalini techniques. She mentioned she does yoga and I expect she incorporates some other Eastern practices for health and well being as well as manifestation into her craft so it's a great alternative technique to use especially if one isn't comfortable with either doing sex magic with a partner or with themselves it's taking the energy of that but applying it in a way that is a lot like how we direct energy towards our spells when we build up the energy then direct it to what we are manifesting, via dancing or drumming or some physical activity where we build the energy and release it.

I feel like many people turn their nose up at that stuff, and if practiced genuinely, it's another form of spirituality and magic that resonates with people, and can indeed be right for some people who aren't comfortable with the "witchier" aspects (I'm sorry I don't know what else to call it). Always love to get your expansion, insight and fact-checking on those witchy videos as they pop up! Thanks!

this is interesting, I personally meditate a lot differently but it is so beautiful how they show the “break” part. when she’s crying, this is so natural. when you’re so raw and authentic and feel safe enough to do so, when you’re leting yourself just be for a moment, it’s so natural to cry and feel all of those things that we might not touch on the daily.

I did not expect to see the reveal of everyone's vulnerability in this video. It was shocking at first but wholly therapeutic to see that it's something that people have to push through to receive the enlightenment or goal achievements they seek. Thank you for reacting to this.

A lot of this stuff fascinates me because I've grown up feeling like I was wrong or incomplete. I found out I was actually autistic a couple of years ago and just.. the relief of realising that none of that was really my fault. I'd internalised all the "this will make you stronger" "everything happens for a reason" and the feeling that I must be doing it to myself somehow. So I guess I wanted to say thank you for your video. I didn't realise I needed to hear that today but I did. Sometimes bad things happen and they don't make you better or stronger, they just change your course.

Oh my god, this was such a powerful video. I've never cried from one of your reaction videos! And thank you for your comments, it was just as powerful as observing such an interesting practice. Thank you so so much for this discussion!

I enjoyed your video. Always love to witness your generosity in love, acceptance and understanding, I admire your ability to catch issues that need to be addressed or expanded on. I don't doubt that she is practicing her craft. I do see that she's also integrating a lot of other ideologies into it that seem to be getting banqueted as witchcraft. Not that that is a bad thing, but it can make things confusing for a beginner. I might be wrong...is just what I took away from it all. In all honesty, I like your approach and style of informing, teaching and sharing knowledge on the subject.

Hello Hearth🖤 I love Skye’s channel and I’m glad it caused me to stumble across yours. As someone with a strong academic and clinical background in mental health who is just recently diving into my spiritual magical side, I have to say I REALLY appreciate the way you approached this video. You paused and clarified somethings that I thought were so spot on and you did it in such a supportive, non judgmental way. Thank you for this video. 🖤

I remember the first time I ever heard Tibetan singing bowls, a lady was playing them to raise the listeners vibrations, and I felt a weird swirling, warm feeling in my abdomen, almost a healing sensation, and after the video stopped I cried hysterically.

That's interesting, I tried doing some research on it a while back but only found an obscure reference to medieval witchcraft. Although I guess what really matters is what the symbol means to the person.

I've been able to work with Mia personally, and she gets into the symbology of the witch's hat, and how the pointedness of the hat works as a kind of "channel" from your crown chakra to reach the divine/higher powers of the universe and your highest self. It's made me wear my hat with more purpose.
@AlexAlex-zm9jy4 жыл бұрын
@I O For what? Especially since it adds nothing to your practice, is completely pointless and makes you look like a poser. It is as if Miss America wore the crown every day to prove something.
@kiram.36193 жыл бұрын
@@AlexAlex-zm9jy Please don't be so rude. Symbols aren't universal. If it doesn't mean anything to you, that's fine. If the same symbol means something to someone else, that's fine too. Besides, while I understand your perspective of thinking it makes her look like a poser, there is also the idea of reclaiming stereotypical symbols for the witches themselves instead of their portrayal in movies or Halloween or stuff. If for example Christians would be suppressed for 200 years and their cross symbol would only appear in their stereotypical depictions; Then Christians began to emerge again. Would they be posers for wearing the cross? Especially if their parents didn't wear it (due to stigmatisations), would that change anything? And should it change anything?

I had already seen this video so it was 'interesting' (see what I did there?) to hear you views on it. While I've always been attracted to spirituality, witchcraft, meditation and all other things outside of 'normal' life as seen by society trained adults I had lost it for a long time and only recently found myself again. I am now, at the age of 42 entering the world of witchcraft instead of just being interested (which I know I would have a long time ago had I have not been caged by the people in my life). I believe in law of attraction as the meeting point of traditional science and magical practice, that makes sense to me, so I guess that is where I am starting my journey but I am open to all that follows. I just wanted to say that since finding you, your channel is now my starting point when I want to learn about something then take it from there so thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your content, it is appreciated more than I can say 🖖💙

I did my own tarot card reading and manifested about paying off debts . In my tarot card it told me I will embrace my own new path in life , with work. Then the next day it lead me to a path I didn’t think I would ever pursue. Making my own jewelry. Led me down a rabbit hole and now I’m learning to make my own and sell them . It’s truly amazing !! Blessed be ♥️♥️

the trance stuff i thought was awesome, there have been times where i thought it looked crazy too and even now theres a part of me that thinks its odd just bc im so not used to seeing it, but i think its beautiful! it really is similar to the type of release you can have from sex and i think its great that we are able to reach that feeling in other ways if we want to, even just watching them do it and how she cried after felt like a release for me! ive tried something like that about 5 years ago with some witches i knew back then and maybe ill try it again when i have a safe space to do it in:)

I really respect that manifesting witch. The way she practices is very different to me, and I’m sure to many people... but When you sit and listen to someone’s story, to someone’s narrative, it is a beautiful thing. I really connected to that narrative she was describing. She is a sweet soul. May the Goddess bring her joy and love in her Craft 🌹🌞🌒🌈

I just found your channel and I believe this is the second or third video Ive watched. THis was a really great example of what a first "real" experience with manifestation can look like. I became very ill with Covid 19 in late March of 2020. It was an extremely traumatic time for me, I was hospitilized three times and was eventually diagnosed with long haul syndrome with neurological side effects as a result of Covid 19. I spend almost the entire year from March 2020 to March 2021 alone with the exception of my husband and daughter (who are SAINTS BTW!) and it lead me to begin some serious shadow work. Man, I wasnt ready for the emotional roller coaster that ensued. I turned 50 and "thought" these were things that I had resolved through therapy and years of it at that. I really encourage anyone who had a traumatic childhood to look into shadow work even if they are not interested in witch craft. We are all worthy of healing our inner child....

She’s a New Age, prosperity witch, but beware: Life is a dance and there is give and take with natural cycles. Beware, you are not the reason for your victimization and should not ever, ever take responsibility for the abusive behaviors of other people or systems that promote abusive practices.

Hearth, I know this has NOTHING to do with what you are talking about, but I just have to say that I think you are just so beautiful. I think your energy is very comforting. Thank you for doing this video. I love learning about witchcraft and magick. I feel it deep within my ancestry, and I have learned my great grandmother on my mom's side, practiced her whole life. My mom has practiced since she was very young before even knowing what she was doing, until later on in life. I feel very blessed I was born through such a wonderful and magical woman. She has taught me some bits of what she practices. I vibe very much with it. I just really enjoy learning what else is out there.... So sorry for the word vomit. I'm passionate about this. 💜

Although I have varied opinions on the video, as an asexual person I actually *really* appreciate the way sex magic was talked about/used here! It was very different from what I would initially think of and a process of breath-release that would be much more comfortable for people who may be interested in this type of magic, but not physical acts.

I have kind of avoided Instagram witches for the most part. I have looked around on KZbin and there were a few that I gather seem to only try to be witches because they like "that witch style" and seem a bit superficial. I remember looking at some of the suggested videos and some of them just didn't seem like I could learn much from them. BTW, Hearth, don't change your style. I love that you are who you are and seem to share my same taste in music (dig the Iron Maiden t-shirt).

This vid kept popping up in my recommended and not going to lie, I was nervous. I love Sky's channel and I had seen this vid before. I liked how.. strange?.. Mia is. I like that she's able to so shamelessly live her truth and her practice, even if not all of it is something I resonate with. I was so afraid that you were going to laugh or make fun of them so I put off watching this video forever. I am SO GLAD that you were polite and supportive and informative throughout the whole thing. I think your video was well made and your comments well put. I like you. New subscriber!

I’ve followed her for a while she’s has such a beautiful energy but yes she’s mentioned before that she wears her witches hat everyday bc it makes her feel good and proud and she wants people to know she’s a witch although yes we don’t wear those hats and it’s mostly in Halloween cartoons and such. But she wears it by choice not to mock witches. She’s talked about it in a podcast with Sahara Rose
