Hey, Seri-just some brief hunting tips I thought would help you since Atlas III seems to be struggling! When hunting elk, the elk that run with their noses in the air are usually weaker than the ones that don't, so keep your eyes open for them! Also, ever since the recent update, tiring your prey out has been one of the best hunting tactics when going on the hunt, as it inhibits the amount of damage your quarry is able to do as well as the speed they're able to run. However, your wolves will also be less harmful when tired, so make sure that your wolf has a good bar of stamina before going in for a bite! Happy hunting!

I lost my first wolfquest pupper yesterday called bear from an illness :( luckily his two sisters and two brothers are all healthy and enjoy their lives as pups!

Well I have tips to help with illness within pups! Stay with your sick pup(s) for about 30 mins or more. Do not sleep more then 4 times. That reduces puppy health. I was on challenging and did this and my puppy survived!

Hey seri! I notice that with how hunting works now, elk that are not keeping up with the rest of the herd are usually much much weaker! This is because their health corrolates with their speed/stamina now! So a tip would be running after the herd for awhile and seeing who isn't keeping up. As for mule deer, just chasing after them for a long time seems to do the trick! Since you are going to be draining their stamina they will EVENTUALLY run slower. Also, I wanted to say thank you so much for your amazing wolf quest videos

Seri, you should spend a little time chasing the herd before you pick one to attack. This does two things; first it reveals which of the elk are the weakest (they will fall to the back), and second, this gets the elk's stamina down so that their attacks do less damage

The pups actually panic about the eagles since the eagle attacks are too easy to get through and so, aren't threatening.

I am really relieved knowing that Adi didn't die to an elk's kick even though that could add a bit more story to Bearfoot Wolves. For example if Adi did die the lifetime quest for one of his pups could be not risking health on a dangerous fight even when protecting their pups because they don't want to end up like their dad. I also think that Echo would be absolutely terrified of eagles now because of that attack. So every time an eagle lands or she finds herself near one she would run away as fast as possible, or if she has pups, she would send all of them inside the den and then crawl in after them till the eagle leaves

Seri; don't Squeak to send pups into the den. That's the call them out! You want woof. And secondly, pups can and do panic now and won't listen to woofs. Woof a lot, but also if one pup is still out where the rest are in during eagle attacks; just pick them up and hold them.

Ok, I know this is completely unrelated but, One time when I was playing Wolf Quest 3, while I was hunting for elk, I followed a eagle and it led me to mule deer. I'm now going to be following any bird I can see.

I've got a she-wolf that's alike to Atlas'- She's strong-ambitious-and has done several murder's but she's got a sweet mate who adore's they're pups!! Recently though she does not know whether she's good enough for her family or not. They're den was flooded and she didn't have a plan where to go because the pups we're only a day old. And she was failing all her hunting attempt's-!

they changed the damage you deal to the prey based on energy you have .. with more energy you deal more damage than you take but with less energy you deal less damage and you take more damage :)

Mule deer are hard i admit, although the fawns are a great find come spring... I usually go for elk, doe's where i can, although I've bought down several bull elk down on my own without my mate..

Considering what happened to his family I can understand why Atlas would feel that way. I love the new updates, but I do get super annoyed with the eagles now since the pups panic and flee whenever there's an eagle attack. The good news is you can prevent a death by hovering over your pups.

I think the puppies could have eaten that rabbit... In the beginning 😅 At some point, the pups can eat rabbits right before ungulates spawn. I think it's at 11 ish pounds? I've saved so many puppies with just a few rabbits. Playing in accurate is SCARY with all these updates, but it does live up to its name. Constantly worried about food and sicknesses Also, if you tire the deer out, they do less damage, and you do a load more. Mule Deer are INCREDIBLY fast now; they're now not at all the best option unless it being your last option, lol. I usually don't bother with territory, but the stranger wolves are now very aggressive, too. The new howl update is really cool but ominous when the howl is coming from a spot where your territory is like 3 or so hexes deep lol

Generally it is better now to take the mate with you after woofing the pups; because pups will come out while mate is home. And not all know how to protect the pups from certain attacks.
