An epic journey begins as Petra of the Steadfast pack finds herself alone in an unfamiliar land after being separated from her mate and pups in a blizzard. With her second litter on the way, Petra must seek help from a mysterious loner if she and her children are to survive. But the land itself is filled with secrets, as is her new ally, and Petra will have to adapt to a new area, new enemies, and even new prey-- and the surprising bounty she finds may bring with it an untold danger...

There is, I believe its name is Pinecone according to the wiki. It’s this little spaniel or something that can’t be attacked, or attack you, but barks and once it spots you take the last bite of food if you can and run@Soioichios

In my play through the cattle ranch was too far away to do consistantly, but it is possible to do. Also note: the illness system seems to be broken. On challenging they will always recover.

Not always. I was playing on this map on challenging and I had a pup pass away from illness, although I had five pups get sick and only one didn't recover.

I love the new lost river map, but my computer doesn’t like to run it (can run all other maps) so, yesterday I tried to open a single player game, and my computer committed suicide and I had to take it to see if I could fix it

The trekker achevmvent is sooo hard to get. I did it, but my surviving two pups reached 20 pounds before even getting to a site, what happens is it resets your smallest pup to 19.9

@@Midnight_wolfyI believe its 5 hexes away. I did that achievement on accurate with my runt wolf in slough creek and ended up blocking out 6 hexes just to be safe.

I think you should not bring your mate into the cattle ranch. They could get stuck on the fence while you are trying to escape and get killed by the rancher.

Yeah, the ranch can be very dangerous for mates. We actually keep permadeath off for mates who go to the ranch, not necessarily because of the rancher, but because one of the deterrents can be very hazardous for them.

It would Be Soo cool if the ranch had other animals other than just Cows this is just a suggestion but why not pigs or sheep oh maybe Chicken and any other farm Animal anything but not a horse

It’s not too hard too maintain territory in LR, it is in SC for me at least, does anyone else think LR is easier to have a large turf?
