I sat in an Irish pub in Leytonstone almost exactly 30 years ago today, with a Guinness. This was on the jukebox. I was alone in the pub, it was my birthday. Just a fond memory of being young. Really nice song.

Wonderful lady in charity shop sang this for us customers today. It was on radio when my first daughter was being born, rotunda 1992. What a gift from God. 🙏 ♥️ Still is...

Within a few years of the A Woman's Heart album coming out, I was able to see five of the six magnificent ladies perform live and meet them afterwards. I was getting the CD autographed, one by one and, when speaking with Eleanor after her concert, I mentioned that Mary Black was next on my list. Eleanor, who has a great sense of fun about her, volunteered that she did a grand Mary Black autograph and offered to sign my CD for both of them. I declined of course and we had a good laugh over it. But both ladies were a delight, as were Maura O'Connell, Sharon Shannon and Frances Black upon hearing and meeting them as well.

I have been a big lover of both of these women for over 30 years now, Mary is probably the better known of the two but eloaner should not take a back seat she's also a great Irish female vocalist in her own right, and for some reason Irish female vocalists have a certain something about their voices that stands out from the crowd and I for one love most of them.
