Dougie has written magical music listen to the Last of the Mohicans soundtrack (sorry Trevour) i was in Scotland some weeks ago, and I told my folks that I really loved this version, and as all Scots will know it comes with a kicker, it was originally an advert for beer! Écosse you mean everything to ME?

My late mother's favourite song, originally born in Scotland 1946, moved to my hometown Derry Northern Ireland at the age of 20 years old, marrying my father from Derry. When I first heard this song from my mum I think of my homeland, Ireland 🇮🇪 amazing talented gentleman and ladies. I am typing this from my hometown Derry Northern Ireland x ⚘️ 🌎🌈🙏🇮🇪❤️ 5:03

A wonderful song that my beautiful 30 year old (mother of 2 gorgeous children)niece Fiona had played at her funeral in 2020 after dying from the dredded cancer . Three of my favourite singer/songwriters of all time sharing the stage: Barbara, Eddi & Mary CC. I first met Barbara when I was a child and she came to sing in Cornwall for her 'Coming Alive Again' tour: what a voice! Eddi threw her arms around me like a long lost friend at a gig in London (Jane Siberry, I think) whilst I made Mary laugh when we had some good natured exchanges/'heckling' when she was recording for Radio 2 at Shepherds Bush. Treasured memories of all 3 Great Ladies!
