I can relate 100000000000000% , im 40 years old now and have been like this all my life , i dont think there is a cure , my anxiety and the panic that comes with it is very much overwhelming , people think its just something easy to overcome and its a silly thing but this is very much REAL !

Am a 36 years old male and am done hiding, i suffer from extreme phobia for cats, i really need help and am not sure how to go about getting help, we recently visited my mother in-law who has 2 full grown cats in the house and my phobia was put to test, it was a really embarrassing moment and it made realise i can not continue living like this, i need help😭

I'm in my 30s a female and scared of cats too. At first, lot of people around me didn't understand but I try to explain to them about the phobia about cats really exist. A struggle for me when I go to eat at street shops cuz there're lot of cats. Also when visiting people house who owns cats.

My mother suffers of this condition. She is not afraid of dogs because she was raised with several of them at a time. People make fun of her and don’t understand but this is a real condition. She doesn’t mind looking at them or interacting with them if there’s a glass in between or when they’re in some cage. She also considers them strikingly beautiful and unique 🙂

Same here I cannot go out without looking if there is a cat around or not. I cannot sit in public areas comfortably

I have cat phobia too. I am 48. But not that severe like I can watch videos and films with cats in it. And can see them at distance.

My cat is literally the nicest animal on the planet! He wouldn't hurt a fly... If it was a lion or a tiger I could understand, but a house cat?? Really??

Just because the cat scratched you doesn't mean you Shouldn't be scared of cats,Cats are super sweet and adorable cats,they treat us with love that is different rather than dogs,My mum is also scared of cats but not THAT scared,I really hope this woman and ALL People that are scared of cats get help and soon love these amazing felines

At least she is safe from cats inside her own house. Im never safe from spiders, ever. Even when i go to sleep i worry that one might climb on me.
