I mean Charlie definitely over dramatized these posts. They weren't that aggressive and weren't written in that aggressive of a tone. Some people don't like dogs, a lot of them are really noisy and they do smell. A lot of them are understandable points and I wouldn't end a friendship with someone because they made the decision to get rid of their dog for any of them, assuming they found said dog a decent family to go live with. Cats are much quieter, and sure they shit inside, but so do we. You put the litterbox in the bathroom and clean it every few days to every week and it doesn't smell that bad if you have decent litter. That's about the extent of maintenance for a cat. Cats arguably smell less, and are significantly quieter, and don't leave shit in your yard, so if walking in your yard barefoot is something you wanted to do, I can understand why you wouldn't want a dog. None of those people talked about wanting to kill all dogs and rid the earth of them, they just didn't want to have one in their life.

Then about 8 years ago my girlfriend at the time brought her dog along since it was a breed that didn't trigger allergies and he was a complete sweetheart. As cats like to observe and have space, and some dogs don't respect that and other times some cats just don't wanna be touched so they might give warnings like the hitting you talked about LOL. My dog and cat, as soon as they met became BFF and never have hurt each other... sadly my dog passed away a bit ago, and so my cat is trying to make new friends with some dogs and cats around the neighborhood, as he's friendly. Lol exactly. Every dog and breed is different but the average dog should go without bathing for 2 months MINIMUM. Weekly or monthly bathing constantly strips your pooch of its natural oils, making their skin dry, flaky, irritated, and very itchy.

When I was a boy, my mum's friend had this Dalmatian that would chase me through the house and knock me over any time I went over there and developed a fear and hatred of them. My Dad got a puppy about 7 years ago and it took only a few months to get over all that and I love them now. Exposure really helps.

like they blame how disgusting and wierd the dogs are when it was humans that got it to this point. i dont have dogs but if i had to take care of one I would happily do it. but where as i dont like when people get big dogs just to leave them in an apartment all day and take them out maybe 3 times for 20 mins (my brother sadly) that is not the fault of the dog and in fact the human is depriving that dog of a good life in a big back yard and someone who can be there for it most of the time. Its so sad to see the logic these people use to justify their hate.
