Which is why yes at first he couldnt imagine it but later on he learnt that even after imagining she was her old self, she felt something. She did the surgery because she was so pushed to want to have revenge, which later she even mentioned, whats the point of being skinny and pretty if she doesnt want revenge any longer? And so she ate alot until the main lead stopped her with some convincing about revenge. But if you see the last scenes of the drama. She herself said that being pretty is not about the body and all that but about being herself and loving herself. Thats my take from the drama. It is very controversial and like contradicting as she changed her whole appearance but i think the drama did pretty okay for discussing about a topic like this. It is hard indeed

It was incredible i watched it in a few nights and i absolutely love it even though the first episode concept seems a bit far fetched and odd it's just to set the whole ''plot'' up after that it gets incredible and is seriously a very satisfying feel good drama. To those that are shooting this down because of the plastic surgery scene. The whole premise is that somone tried to kill her so she went through surgery to hide her identity and to get revenge. It's not about beauty standards. That's like .1% of the show. She does find somone who loves her personality and not just by looks. I will also like to add, of course she isn't ugly. Actors and actresses play roles that they want. Let's not forget the people playing the parts known the premise and what they are playing.
