Don´t underestimate this playerbase in their delusions, I once took 10k with two ap salvos off another dd before being finished off, they spent 10 minutes after the match telling me I was wrong to shoot ap at a destroyer and that my inexperience lead me to use the wrong ammo, even after I explained the mechanic in detail. In the end I hope they still operates under this assumption.

If "sort by DPM" was a valid method to determine what's best, Gearing would be one of the best gunboats in the game. Despite years of power creep, the raw DPM is still quite good... it's just the "hitting things beyond 6km" and lack of gimmicks and pen..

7th-highest HE DPM and 10th-highest AP DPM is not too bad.

No I've played this line I have the Benson and I do get in fights with t10 dds and I will say in the 10 km range the guns really do dmg the main problem I have faced with this line is the low HP and maybe low fire chance and that's it this line can take fights with dds no irony there but it cannot survive hits that's the main problem currently

Look I will say this line is balanced by having bad handling but look if u only look at the rae dmg and dpm of this line upto the t10 u will put it in A tier just because of that and it's effective dpm

My guy can you do a PSA for us plebs grinding resources in ranked...Best ranked TT and resource ships T 7-9. You pretty much have T-10 covered.

25% more DPM, not 20% 5 guns is 125% of the fire power 4 guns, assuming the guns are the same. 5/4 = 1.25 You would lose 20% going back to 4 guns (4/5 = 0.8)

Akizuki is the pinnacle of the line, imo, same HP as Kita, same guns minus slot6, matched against a T8 DD that at worst is another Kita firepower wise and having a normal quad launcher with reasonable reload rather than a gimmick hex launcher that is predictable as all get out and only lives up to the hype on bad or pinned players once every couple matches since the opportunity cost of using it is so stupid.

I would rather play daring over haru, the same thing goes for the tier 5-7 in the grind, but aki is really good and between Kita and Jutland it’s not even a contest imho

Why playing Harugumo when Kitakaze can bully T7 dd? I grinded the haru line last year and I only bought Harugumo last month because of the 9th anniversary's "snowflake".

Haragumo is in a bad state. Needs a radar buff or extra torp launcher for 2 sets of torps.

I know its not strictly a bad ship, but it just feels like such dog shit to play.. the maneuverability and bloat is truely awful. It definitely needs some carefully crafted buffs. Or at least un nerf the kitakazes concealment so I can just go back to playing that xD
