There were even additions to the democratic path for Germany. There's that branch directly under "Reverse the Brain Drain" that's not in the base game. This mod is basically just Hoi4+

That's mainly because all those communists were imprisoned by the nazis way before the timeline of the game. Just like with Stalin and moderate socialists or democrats, there's no sensible way of bringing them back. Though, there were no sensible ways of bringing back the monarchists or fascists either, but paradox decided that they wanted to spice up the dlc anyways.

Dude I wish that they added a Communist Germany tree to the base game I'm surprised they haven't added one yet since every major power (except for Italy because Paradox is like "haha fuck you") has that bit in their focus tree so y'know it's kinda confusing. Either way amazing video.

ISP. Use the command "debug_smooth" to make the game go faster. It makes the game not cheak what all the divs are doing. I am useng this myself - amaizing

Debug smooth actually depriorties the inputs, the negative to this can be choppy or even disabled control. But yes it can boost speed.

I don't know where you guys get the info on what debug_smooth does. From the sources I could find from google, debug_smooth is used to toggle frame smoothing. Frame smoothing is apparently something like an FPS cap, in an effort to prevent the user from getting major lag spikes.

Germany got Democratic and Monarchist to go with its historical Fascist path. Russia got Fascist and Monarchist to go with its historical Communist path. So for Italy's DLC they're going to remove the historical Fascist path entirely to make things symmetrical and have you only able to be Democratic, Communist or Monarchist.

Italy gets a huge fascist only tree, but after 2 years declared against a GP mussolini gets shot, you auto capitulate, and you are locked into the default tree with Democratic Neutrality.

Point of note, Communist Germany would probably still be legally considered a "Reich". While nowadays associated with Hitler and the idea of an empire, it is better translated as "Realm". Even the democratic Weimar Republic was still considered "The German Reich". This term appears in Dutch and other Germanic languages too, for example the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, the "Museum of the Realm". If Germany went communist it'd probably just be the Deutsches Volksreich
