A Worthy Upgrade? (Darmoshark M3S Pro Varun)

I had to open my M3 4k up to drop some foam pads in the click stabilizers. My copy had some wobble similar but not quite as bad as yours and I didn't want to RMA the mouse shipping it across the world with mechkeys shipping time. Those foam pads helped tighten up any wobble in the clicks and reduced so much pre-travel on the mouse clicks for my M3 4K copy. And yes, I tried tightening all the screws as much as I could to make sure it was not the problem.

I think attackshark X3 is a great choice, on my unit there are no rattles, build quality is beyond expectations (really solid), sensor is really accurate, the only issue I have is the weird double click like feeling on the right button, this is not a big issue there are no double clicks. Definetly worth the Price

If your mouse is double-clicking it's probably defective

It would be cool in the sound test part for you to test the main buttons on all ends, so you can get an idea of how the click tension is in the parts furthest from the switches, otherwise you do an excellent review

Awesome review! Too bad you had some QC issues with this one. I have the original M3S and like it well enough, but don't use it often. I got it in red, which is a fun color for sure. I don't think I'll pick up the pro, as I only ever run at 1k or 2k polling. Lately I've been playing with the Atlantis Mini 4k (at 1K mostly), and have been really liking it. I'm happy that their recent firmware fixed the lagging issues I was having. Now I have two of them lol, so I'll be giving one away, just have to figure out who to give it to!

I've received both the Delux M800 ultra and the darmoshark M3S pro 4K those two are incredible, now i dont know which one to choose for main, quick note for macro delux has the advantage

I love the review. I'd also like to ask, how does the GSR 2 feel compared to the GSR SE Gris/Rouge. how does the gsr 2 par up with tracking games despite the se being technically better for tracking

Just going by eye the shape looks nearly idential to the Coolermaster M711's shape. Which is perfect for me. With an upto date sensor and much better latency, this should be a good upgrade. But yeah ordered one. Hopefully the QC isn't scuffed. And thanks for the review.

Got my copy and its a good one. Solid build. Couldn't get the side to activate by hard pressing and theres not much play in the main buttons. The side buttons have no post/pre travel. Think they may have tightened tolerances since then or the later batches improved a lot. Its firmware does look like its been updated too and no issues so far with a couple days of play and testing. The coating is non existant which is fine for me as I don't like dirty mouses anyways. And it does come with some good grips. Got the 4K dongle and its all good. Nothing bad to note.. other than the battery indicator.. which is a little off, and its hard to tell what percentage its on as the number keeps fluctuating. But I'll just charge when the dongle or mouse indicates if its low so no problem. Maybe a later firmware fix will sort that out.

I have an M3, I use it to work on bluetooth and for gaming at night on the dongle, I find it an incridible mouse for everything. The only thing the bothers me is the loud clicks, these TTC's feels very nice, but are really loud. I'm thinking in buying this M3S Pro to replace it seeing that it uses the BSPD

M3S Pro easy. The G304/5's are going to eventially get double clicks with bad switches in that model. That or the VXE F1/ Pro which seems to be getting rave reviews as budget mouses go.

Is it possible that the click wobble is due to the switches themselves? I took a closer look on transparent white shell white dot and also transparent blue shell pink dots and the housing wobbles

Great review as always Liam! I'm curious what you think about the performance difference between 1k, 2k, and 4k with the M3S Pro. I'm still testing mine before making a review and still haven't purchased the 4k dongle yet because based on the tech power up review with 2k, there's not much noticeable difference between 1k and 2k. I'm just looking for your input on the higher polling rate because there has been some debate lately on this topic.
