They didn't know each other. Bradley was referring to him actually killing him multiple times at that moment. Homunculus are physically human, so everytime they suffer a lethal attack that would normally kill a human, they die too but would get resurrected immediately and regenerates.

So just to clarify. Martell's Blood Hitting Al didn't cause him to see the truth. It just shocked his soul so his memories of seeing the truth came back to him. Doing it again wouldn't cause him to see more truth

In case you're wondering how Bradley found Greed's lair, there was several chapters worth of content that got cut out; that would've explained it. To summarize: Ed had left to renew his state license; which is why he wasn't around when Al got kidnapped; and while there, he ran into Bradley and Armstrong. Ed mentioned that he was visiting his teacher, and Bradley expressed interest in meeting her, claiming she'd make a great state alchemist; of course you know the real reason. Ed told him it would be a bad idea, since Izumi isn't fond of the military, and left. Meanwhile, Izumi found out about Al's kidnapping, and quickly tracked down and confronted Greed. They fought for a short while, before Al (who was willing to negotiate with Greed) asked her stop and let Ed know what happened. When Ed returned, he discovered that Bradley had followed him, claiming to be on vacation. They went to Izumi's shop, and Sig gave Bradley a hard time about Izumi's whereabouts. Armstorng then stepped in, and he and Sig had a flex off; that ended with the two shaking hands. After that comedic scene, Izumi stepped out and told Ed what had happened. At the mention of Greed, Bradley's demeanor changed; and he quietly left to get reinforcements.

I never realized until you mentioned it how strange it was that Bradley just happened to show up at the Devil's Nest. This puts all of that into perspective.

I think Greed explained the weaknesses of the other Homunculus the best (it's a shame that he is the only one who was defeated in a technical way). In this episode we learn that the Homunculus are immortal but not completely, because Wrath said how many more times he needs to kill Greed before he stays dead, which means that he has a certain number of lives, and that minor wounds do not pose a threat to him other than losing lives, also whenever he puts a shield around himself, the shield always appears from the ends of his arms until they end around his head, and since he cannot create his shield until he heals, cutting off his arms puts him in a very vulnerable position, as his body is just a normal human with no arms, and we also see that Homunculus can be "paralyzed" if the red dots on their body are pierced by something, like we see where Wrath left the swords stuck in Greed which stops Greed from using his abilities. Greed is the perfect representation of an almost invincible opponent who you can't defeat with just pure force if he is completely in his armor, but you have to use special tactics or use his ego against him (more or less catch him off guard, and don't let up with attacks), this is a really amazing show, and all this can be learned with just a few sentences, and mostly from visual telling, which is very difficult to include in the story sometimes, but I love it when it is applied at this level, it is really awesome.

Loads of foreshadowing, and you got a good chunk of theories hashed out based of the excellent writing from episodes up to that point. Nope, Tucker thought he was on the cutting edge, but the military had fully integrated human chimera for a while now. Even sacrificing his daughter only got him slightly closer to the breakthrough already completed.

Which is exactly why when Envy revealed that Tucker had been murdered that she responded by caling him a "little nothing." They already knew Tucker was a third rate alchemist.

Several of the more ancillary chimeras from the manga had their characterisation and scenes cut, so they’re just there to add to Greed’s group until Bradley’s forces slaughter them. The four central ones were kept because they have roles to play.

the reveal that the military has already damn near perfected creating homonculi adds so much tragedy to Shao Tucker's story. After everything he did, his entire certification was a sham, as he was being used to project the image that no one could create homonculi. Nina died to propogate a lie.

Poor little Selim, yknow 🥲 About the chimeras from humans, it's also implied that the Army created them right after the Ishvalan war, so way wayyyy before Tucker started doing his own chimeras, which are way less evolved than the ones created by the Military. It's also an interesting question to raise, as to why the Military pretended that Tucker's work was groundbreaking, when it was not AT ALL, and it could've saved several lives.

I'm not sure the fancy lead up/transition stuff is necessary, it doesn't add any entertainment value for me as a viewer and it just seems like unnecessary filler that I'm likely to skip past. I also don't understand why reaction channels do the "Coming up..." thing at the start, I'm already watching the video, do your intro discussion and lets get on with the show. I apologize if this comes across as harsh, but less is often more.
