Love this showcase of classic cat behavior :) My boys are exactly the same way -- they actually prefer their boxes (and other objects of entertainment) a little beat-up and ragged. Guess it's more fun that way. I'll never completely understand why cats do what they do, but I will always absolutely love them >^^
