A year with the mystery ranch pintler 41l

I appreciate your evaluation of the Pintler 41L pack, especially your recommended modifications to the load shelf system. Recently I stumbled upon an earlier, 2017 version Pintler in a thrift store. It is in mint condition and obviously was never used. Mine shares the same frame as yours but appears to be more tactically oriented due to the daisy chained nylon pouch attachment ladder system (PALS) used to anchor MOLLE gear. It also has two external, horizontal compression straps securing the primary zipper. Your model is a lot cleaner and less cluttered. It seems to represent a considered move away from a MOLLE orientation by Mystery Ranch. I have found the interior sleeve pockets can be quite useful in keeping items such as a collapsible camera tripod securely stowed in an upright position. In any event, MR products are incredibly robust and durable regardless of the model/year. I'll look for your follow-up evaluation. You're sure u got a pintler? I do believe it was based off one of their military packs and just made its way into the hunting line, iv have done the follow up friend, lol I ended up trading it for a mystery ranch tactiplane , also have vids on it aswell, hope your day its great 👍 thank for the comment!

For $499 retail, it’s okay, the Terraframe 50 for $100 less is a bit better value, and is slightly larger in volume. I use mini bags inside mine anyways, so the inside pockets of the Pintler isn’t a loss, as it’s not significant anyways. The 50L of the Terraframe is a better trade off for less
