He never mentioned his family in this show, I thought he was some kind of rich handsome prince😭. But after this song I started to looking for his background. And…Totally…shocked… His father died when he was 4. The only thing his father left was a radio. He takes it to herd sheep everyday.(because of family difficulties). That’s how he learned to sing. Then his mother died when he was 7.😭 His older brother raised him up. To earn a living, sent him to dance. Still, he have a dream to study in Peking Dance Academy . So he went to Peking alone when he was 16. Dancing in the restaurant, singing at the bar. 4 years later finally earned enough money for the college, he and Zheng Yunlong became classmates. He said he had never felt so kind, there is practice acting between students everyday, and they smiles to you even if you make a mistake. But then his brother was found to have cancer. Because they had no money to cure the disease ,his brother died a few days later. Now his nephew was raised by him. Zheng Yunlong said although he likes to tease A Yun Ga, he had great respect for him. He has never seen such a hard worker. And because he's been through so much, he always knows what he wants.

Small knowledge: ayanga means thunder in Mongolian, xilamuren is transliteration from Mongolian to Chinese, it should be called or written like sharmuren, which means yellow river.

A Yun Ga is not only a great singer but he is also used to be a talented dancer. He had a backache so he had to stop his dancing career. Thankfully, we are still able to watch some of his short dancing performances in some variety shows.

I disagree with you.--Ayunga is a great singer. He touches people's hearts. He can convey emotions and tell a story -perhaps the most important goal of singing and music in general. He is also a chameleon . He adapts his voice to the character he is playing and to the singers with whom he is singing. He has perfect pitch and is a great acapella singer. He taught himself how to play the piano and has written many songs and is a strong music arranger. No fancy voice or music lessons - just pure talent. And he is only getting better. Most of the commentators are captivated by his singing. we are all entitled to our opinions and taste.

In this episode, Henry joined Ayunga's team and would perform one song with team members. Initially they planned that Henry would sing with the four young boys and Ayunga & Zheng Yunlong would would perform together again as duet. But Zheng Yunlong insisted Ayunga to sing this song as solo because he knows how amazing Ayunga will be. Zheng joined with Henry and four young boys to sing and leave the stage to Ayunga whose performance, as you've seen, is astonishing. Zheng & Ayunga are definitely soulmates. They know each other so well and always give each other best support, even willing to compromise and sacrifrice himself.

This is a very old Mongol song from the Ordos region. I have provided the Mongol lyrics (Ayunga didn't sing the whole song which is very long) and an attempt at English translation below.
