Welcome to the channel, Raul. it is awesome that you enjoy the content with your kids! If you freeze the screen after Ms Kobozeva last move you will notice that little Alisa has no where to move with out putting herself in check. In other words she has "no legal move" left available to her. In that circumstance the game is decided as a draw. Miss Yunker was incredibly clever to maneuver from such a disadvantageous position into this result. I hope your kids find inspiration in these games for whatever they enjoy to do!

Wow, don't ask why kids under pressure become an oppressor, infact the twinkle eyes and a proud of smile of this kid determines who is wins everything in this match.😁 Surely you are a good fighter kid.

A. Yunker's chess teacher has her playing a line of the Nimzo-Indian that seems too difficult for a small child. A. Yunker got doubled pawns, lost a pawn, lost another one and ended with a lost endgame, and it's not so obvious where her errors were. Maybe a simpler line in the White side of the Nimzo is recommended.

What a difference a day makes? You do believe that children are people too, right - not just reflections of their "teachers" egos? What happened to "Yunker is among the most talented small girls I've ever seen. She must have a very strong chess teacher." But today, chess is too difficult for her? And today her "very strong chess teacher" doesn't even know how to game prep? Now, you may ask why this all bothers me. That's because you consistently trivialize the efforts of all the channels young players. These are real people sharing their best efforts with the world. They are not sports professionals you've paid to raspberry. They are not allegorical figures representing your past failures or glories. You watch them every day, can you not see they are human? Treat them as such!

Pukulu is really a great addition to our community. In contrast with us, average players, he seem to know chess very well. And instead of endless bunch of prayings like, "awesome! wow! amazing! good job!" (which is also good) - he comments exactly chess, pointing at some issues with one wish - to help and share his knowledge. But you, Gerry... You almost everywhere trying to bully everyone.

Because , Yunker has positioned herself for a stalemate. If Koboeva took the game ends in a draw. Very smart play here by Yunker to recognize this opportunity in such a time crunch. She saw this many moves before we got to that point.

I didn't see any consternation in Koboyeva's face when she made that move or a hint of recognization of error, to me it looked like she knew exactly what she was doing and rather than give the little girl a L (and see her cry) she chose a stalemate instead which gave her a smile instead.
