Most chinese main auto co has at least 3 subrand. Premium, mid range and low range. Each will have its own brand name.

Yeah i googled, but besides zeekr and lotus both under geely which is headed by a Chinese person, i dont see any western heads of any of the brands here

Design wise yes, they do have a lot of Westerners, but this isn’t uncommon in the auto industry. Nissan, kia, many others have western designers. Western companies also have asian designers. Pinky Lai and Joji Nagashima come to mind
