Shadow of Rome was pretty big back when it was first released, received rave reviews especially in magazines like C+VG etc. I especially loved it....but where is STEAMBOT CHRONICLES! One of the most charming adventure/RPGs on the PS2 and what I believe was highly underrated! Can say I've played or heard of most of these except that chicken one! 😂 Other suggestions: Sky Gunner Shadow Tower Abyss Shining Force EXA , Neo & Tears Shinobi do Takumi Shooting Love Sol Divide Spy Fiction Street Golfer Sword of Etheria Sword of the Samurai

Always appreciate your suggestions, I usually come off your videos with 2-3 more games on my want list. Here's a suggestion for the letter T, Tales of Destiny: Director's Cut. It's normally a jp only game but there is an english patch available. One of the best games in the Tales series imo and I'm sure a lot of people missed out on it

Yes, Stretch Panic is a lot of fun, only downside is that you need to grind for points but otherwise it is a lot of fun! 🤩

Another great list! Some really odd and quirky games here. Nice to see that Shadow of Destiny/Memories made the list. I played it back in the day on PSP and couldn't put it down until I finished it. One of the most unique games I've ever played. Bought a PS2 copy and plan to replay it at some point. I hear good things about Shadow of Rome too, but haven't got around to playing it yet. That's probably the most known/popular game on this list. I'd add the three Silent Scope games to the list, as they're very unique compared to any other games on the console, but unfortunately the PS2 releases don't have light gun support to simulate that arcade experience. The Xbox Silent Scope however, does have light gun support, so maybe one day in an Xbox letter S list :)

Super Gardelic Hour -aka the guiltiest of pleasures. Seriously though it's a really well made game, fun and yeah the graphics are pretty excellent, if a bit psychodelic most of the time... Do not try playing this game on LSD... I can only imagine what that would do....

I loved Shadow of Rome as a kid, but I should mention that the game peaks when you reach the gladiator sections. One of the biggest mechanics in that section is crowd favour where you need to entertain the crowd to get access to weapons and buffs that are thrown into the arena by the crowd. You do this by doing spectacular moves and kills. This also gives you access to various pieces of gladiator armour which are beautifully designed. Passing these sections can require you to master the crowd. Other hidden gems starting with 'S' that I would recommend include: Shinobi Soul Reaver 2 Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy Spy Vs Spy Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith Surf's Up

Shadow of rome is a fun one. I just found out about it earlier this year and couldn't stop playing it until the game was complete. Sub rebellion looks really fun. I have to try it now thanks Bros. Super farm looks hilarious. I wish it had a US version because I'd like to try it. Maybe when i get my super console x5 pro. It has complete libraries of game's for Dreamcast Gamecube and all the retro consoles. It has 400 ps2 games included also so maybe super farm will be on it. I do have free mc boot so maybe on that if not scx. Emulation is the way to go for a lot of us now days in my opinion. Who can afford to collect for all consoles? Definitely not me. I don't even have a pc but i have a emulator. I thought i would see Space Race on your list. Idk how hidden gem it is but seems like the type of game you would cover. Scarface is my favorite ps2 game starting with S and Spy Hunter is another good one. Thanks for the video.

"Shadow Tower Abyss" is an RPG and a spiritual predecessor to Demon's Souls. It's a Japanese exclusive, but there is a fan translation available.
