I don't see "ResidentFlash" after I copied the new maps over. Please help! Updates: After I shutdown and reboot the device, the new NAVI.exe showed up. That would be the fix which the video didn't bother to tell you that.

I bought a 9" GPS and it makes me drive in circles. I watched more than a dozen times this video and still doesn't work. the worst thing is to unzip the file witch my computer doesn't recognize. This is really frustrating and upsetting.

Not sure but you can try the following: 1. Connect the GPS to a computer then go to [USB DRIVE]:\NAVI\SAVE\PROFILES 2. Before updating the maps/software, copy the profile folder (ex: 01) to your computer. This will backup your profile data. 3. Update the maps/software 4. Copy the profile folder (that you backed up in step 2) back to the same path (you can overwrite) after updating the software/map I haven't tried it since my maps are already updated but this appears to be where the user data is stored. Please let us know if it works.
